I would be curious to know the opinion of Cardinal fans about Albert Pujols being traded to the Angels. Were you surprised by the deal?

As a Reds fan, I must say that I'm relieved that Pujols is no longer in the same division. He always did well against the Reds and the fact that he isn't even in the National League anymore is also a bonus.

He shouldn't ask the Cubs to give up or take back anything from the Red Sox. They allowed Theo to speak to the Cubs without speaking up for their own man. IF they really wanted to keep him, they should have given him a vote of confidence and told him to honor his one year contract. If the Cubs and Red Sox can't come to an agreement, the Red Sox will eventually let him out of his contract anyways. Especially as a lame duck GM, who would want that?
