Online cyber specials were exceptional deals - they (at the Sears store) ordered online for me and I bought other merchandise at the store which had been advertised in the Sunday newspaper circular as well. It was easy to buy the things I wanted and I was well satisfied with my experience at the Sears store. Other retailers should follow this example and order online for their customers AT THE STORE if necessary. A great idea!

Are they both from Sears? Is the Futon from a third party? That might explain the delivery process.

It may still be cheaper than getting it from a major furniture store... Furniture stores usually charge for delivery too, unless they are having a "free delivery" promotion. Where I live at least, we have a few major furniture retailers that are all pretty pricey... If I was you, I'd compare the pricing of Sears futons with the delivery to the pricing of major furniture retailers in your area. You may still be getting a better deal!

What do you need a futon for? College, game room? My sister just bought a house and she closes tomorrow (yay!) and she's going to get a futon for a gameroom in her basement. It should be cool! Good luck finding a futon! :)

Why does Sears have futon beds online but not in the store? Then they want to charge you $65.00 to have just the mattress delivered to my house. The rest comes in two seperite shippments which they charge you for them to ship.

Hi, gjh6969! I work in the Sears Home department and would be happy to help you out. What is the exact product/daybed you were looking at? I'll need a name or model number to check if it's usually on dispay in stores.

Also, the other commenters are correct that it's possible you were looking at a product from a third-party vendor, in which case it would not be available in Sears stores.

Not alot of the products shown online are sold in the store, especially when it comes to the furniture, most of this kind of items, are stored in a warehouse and shipped out to your home. The best way to know if the item is in the store is to make sure it is sold by Sears and if it is you can check store availability. However, if you only see the 'Ship' button, it will not be available in the store. Hope this helps.

Make sure the daybed is from Sears and not a third party. There have been problems with furniture ordered from a couple of venders that sell furniture. So, just be very carful and know who you are ordering from.

I'm not a firm fan but I have been mattress shopping myself and from Sears I picked the Lucida ultraplush sears-o-pedic but they had one of the beds that's split firm/plus so I laid on both sides and the firm isn't all that bad with the pillow top. It's supportive yet cradles your body. I just have a sensitive back I think cause even on the regular lucida plush which was what was brought to me I wake up with a sore back every morning. I got a queen and spent under $700 but I also had an employee 10% off so I'm not sure what the price of a king would be. My son got the Kamela I believe, in a firm. My mom is a very firm fan and she likes his bed so that could be another to look into. Happy bed shopping.

yeah, you have to rotate it more frequently at first but then it's every couple months. I'm not sure, I'll have to read the tag once I get the right bed delivered. Although I'm not sure how rotation keeps from getting any indentions unlike flipping the mattress with the old style.

Good point. So many people dont realize that you have to rotate the matresses. I have noticed at hotels that markings on the matresses indicate they need to be rotated every 3 months. probably the same for in home use also
