Anyone sell this stuff at your stores yet? I want to see a display but dont know if they are in my local area Sears yet. I think its nice to have some priced up items to attract new customers who usually would go to a custom shop - but now Sears has the big guns with JennAir.

How does it sell? Because I cannot even get a price online!

We've had Jenn-Air for a long time, but it's rare for it to show up on a salesfloor. We have other premium brands in kitchen appliances, like Bosch, KitchenAid, and Electrolux.

Most of our premium customers seek out the Kenmore Elite, or GE Profile (for cooking, anyway). Jenn-Air is very much like Bosch, where people who love it seek it out, and people who aren't familiar with it may not understand the appeal.

ok i gave up. there was a two weekish press release about a whole big exclusive with sears. I want to know if this is not as big a deal as I assumed? I mentioned this line of appliances and a few of my friends' parents eyes lit up... they were shocked that JennAir would be having their exclusive high end stuff at Sears. Is this a moment to be joyful?

PRESS RELEASE

Sears will become the sole national retailer of Jenn-Air appliances after the new year, supplanting existing distribution deals between the super-premium Whirlpool brand and Lowe's and The Home Depot. Sears, the nation's No. 1 appliance retailer, said it will introduce 17 Jenn-Air refrigerators, dishwashers and cooking products by mid-month at 255 of its largest stores. Jenn-Air will continue to be available to independent dealers and regional chains.
The move blunts market share gains by the home-improvement channel, and presents Sears with a prestige kitchen collection just as consumers begin planning their holiday entertaining.

Price points for the luxury line run as high as nearly $10,000 for some built-in refrigerator models. Sears has recently beefed up its high-margin premium portfolio with the addition of Bosch appliances and the expansion of its private-label Kenmore Elite collection. "Sears continues to listen to our customers who have voiced their desire for a super-premium line," said Sears' home appliances president Doug Moore. "Our relationship with Jenn-Air to carry its luxury line of kitchen appliances is another great example of how we continue to enhance our brand offerings.

Oh, that IS cool. I just found an article about it: http://archives.chicagotribune.com/2009/nov/04/business/chi-biz-jenn-air-sears-nov04

Long story short: Sears is now the exclusive national chain retailer for Jenn-Air. Their products are now in 255 Sears stores (it used to be in 0 stores). Perhaps, as sales for JA products increase, they'll spread to other stores. I certainly wouldn't mind a couple pieces on my floor. Thanks for the heads up!

According to the jenn-air website, on store locator, my store shows up. I'm going to give it a look, but not till the new year, which is when they will roll them out.

I'm looking for the Jenn Air CVEX 4100 in black.  Can I order it from Sears?  What is the price?  I don't need to see it.

Jenn Air quality is not what it used to be. Do some research online about how unhappy consumers are regarding quality issues and customer service. I will never buy Jenn Air again.
