Hmmm...I think you should be looking for quality, not quantity! I don't have all that much new stuff to review. Does it have to be about something bought at Sears, or just sold at Sears?

It does not have to be something you bought at Sears.  If it is sold at Sears, you are good to go. 

And, sorry, telmil, employees are not eligible.

Don't feel bad about the employee ineligibility.

Employees shopping at Sears are also not allowed to submit CSAT (Customer Satisfaction Surveys) evaluations on their service experience, while shopping at Sears.

Normally, using your employee discount card stops the survey invitation from even printing on the register receipt.

Pity...

There are some excellent Sales Associates, that deserve more POSITIVE recognition than they're getting now.

IBM had a similar employee suggestion program, a few years back.

You could only submit a suggestion concerning something that you did not have any in-depth experience with (any OTHER department than yours).

Some of Sears best customers are the employees its a shame they don't include us.

Agreed, disappointed to learn this blog is a contest to earn badges and points...easy to measure quantity, and more difficult to measure quality....suggest you have people vote on the best review vs # of reviews...anyone can make something up and post it...not saying people do it, but can be done..

No, this blog is not a contest, at all.  We had a promotion running through the month of June where members wrote as many reviews as they could to win free shipping for a year through Sears.com.

The My Sears Community is for conversation and thoughts regarding all things Sears related, and lots of just, fun stuff, our members want to discuss, as well as a great place to write and read reviews! 

We do reward points to the writer for "most helpful" votes for individual reviews. This is a way to measure the quality of the reviews - if the community finds a review helpful they can rate it as such. The reviews that have been rated as "helpful" are noted so other members/ community site visitors can see those which others have rated the best quality.

Chuckm-I was referring to the specific promotion that was running for that particular month.  It is not an ongoing contest.  But, was for the 4 weeks I discussed in the heading.  Just an old thread that was reactivated, so I can understand the confusion.

The reviews are read by moderators for length and quality - you cannot just submit a thousand reviews a day, they will have to be approved first.

Oooh I hope people will review their laptops. I was trying to help my mom pick a new one and I realized that the laptop section on MySears needs some more substantial reviews.
