Confused about old ratchet repair

I am a former PMT associate, now known as a Backroom Associate, and this ratchet kit number sounded very familiar. So I got on Ebay to see that ratchet, and yes those kits do exist and your local store should be able to rebuild it (assuming they have the kit in stock).

Sears Store #0001281 Pueblo, Colorado

It shouldn't be the customer's job to get the employees to do theirs. They are "on the clock" and should be attending to Company business.

If Sears really wants to succeed, they need to do better towards their customers.

Before I made the second trip to town, I had received an email that my socket was ready for pick-up. When I got there they could not find it.

Unacceptable incompetence.

What Happens to our Investment ?

Good point & this is why I thought just maybe but if you talk to very many peple that grew up being loyal to Sears there are many that aren't which is bad for the Brands in question. This would also be hard to fix once the damage is done.

I mean I have many Sears Products still & used to go to Sears for most everything. I used to spend a few thosand every year now I go to a service oriented Wharehouse Store for most things first.

My last major purchases were a disaster to say the least with Sears which was a top Model Washer\Dryer & Freezer with delivery & setup which was the final catalyst for my disatisfaction now.
