There is a small logistics problem in the latest Craftsman Club sales.

There are automotive (division 28) tools going on Craftsman Club sale, that are only sold in the Automotive Department - that doesn't seem to RECOGNIZE Craftsman Club Cards.

The inflators, battery chargers, and some of the specialized division 28 tools are rarely sold/stocked in the main store.

Hopefully, the ability for Automotive Center computers to ring Club Sale merchandise or the stores being able to stock (and have enough stock)  the merchandise are being addressed.

This must not be a very big issue, after all.

We've got a few oil filter changing tools in, since the original post.

The chargers and inflators will continue being "potential" problems, though.

Let's set up some Trees!

what exactly is an "AdamO".  i think the dictionary definition would be "a person who has far too much free time, and far too few life-enhancing hobbies.

You're right!

I should be spending more quality time with my hobbies.

Thank you for the constructive feedback.

We can't scan Craftsman Club cards in the Automotive POS system, so we create barcodes for those items.  That is how the Club price is given to the customer.  As far as having product in the FLS, some stores do have the product in the D/9 area.  If a customer buys a D/28 item that is in the Club and pays at a FLS register, the associate can swipe the customer's card and the price will come up.  It just doesn't work in Automotive.

Ah! A barcode sheet...

No one in our Automotive Center was aware of this anumal.

And, we do have "some" division 28 stuff.

One filter pair of pliers and maybe four kinds of filter wrenches (after several weeks of being out-of-stock).

I have a had time with this stuff in Automotive in the Tampa store. Thank goodness the tool register is close by. They're much more quick on the ball there!!!

Separate building at my store.

And, boy!

Don't try walking through the parking lot with unpaid merchandise!

We're up to ONE oil-filter plier tool and two each of the socketed changers.
