I liked the Craftsman combination Tractor/Trailer Tool box toy.

I have it with a lot of my other Craftsman stuff.

I think the Craftsman 1st toy "Chainsaws" are a scream!

My only thought about them would be to make them VERY simple to operate, so the kiddies won't "get the hang" of a regular chainsaw's safety interlock devices.

What about a My First Craftsman line for little girls (example - pink tool belt etc.)?

So, that's the MFC tractor by Power Wheels. Thanks for the reminder. Doesn't look very, um, tractor-like. Maybe if they had given it a more pronounced nose, to resemble the predator-style hood...I don't know...it's like they exaggerated features you'd usually not call attention to, and downplayed features you'd usually be drawn to look at on a real tractor.

Yeah! That's what I thought, too! Was it 2 years ago that the tractor was in stores? I don't seem to remember seeing it at my store, though I do recall the introduction of the Craftsman Ford F-150 truck (which was a knockout at Christmas).

yea pretty sure it was 2 years ago we had them sitting out at MPU on black friday along with the trains and the F-150s all of them sold pretty well as i recall

I like them light weight Craftsman 7 oz. curved-claw hammers. I learned with my Dad's 16 oz. Craftsman hammer. Man! That extra hammer head weight HURTS when it hits little fingers. That hammer, a small assortment of nails and soft wood to nail them into, would make a nice first real tool gift (with appropriate not swallowing safety statement for the nails). :)

Any, tape measure is a fun, relatively safe, real tool toy for a young boy or girl.

Every holiday time of year, Sears sells Craftsman tool ornaments. The metal versions are a little more durable in little hands than the resin versions. These are sort-of toys.

I get hat you are saying, but there is also My First Kenmore toy kitchen appliances. You can find both at Kmart!

There should also be commercials for them at Kmart.  Show that there are exclusive toys of the Sears/Kmart brands there! People need to realize where they can buy it because Sears stores do not sell toys.

I bougt my little girl a MFKenmore vacuum last Christmas.......and a drill too.  Didnt want her to feel too domestic :P

im going to go with a leaf blower.  Then she can help with the yard work!

My son loves his tractor, we ride together all the time.  He has got a mini push mower, I like the leaf blower idea.  How about a trimmer.  you guys should make the leaf blower and trimmer  blow bubbles, that would be a hit.

Bring back the Craftsman 1st Shop Vac.

That's a good first power tool for kids to learn.

After mastering the toy... the child can graduate up to the real thing!

The best thing about a shop vac is that stuff doesn't get mangled up by either a beater-bar or impeller while getting collected.

And, you can always go into the tub, to look for loose change, keys, medicine bottles, small toy pieces, etc.

Are there going to be any pose-able Craftsman robots this holiday?

Maybe a small version (possible ornament) and a larger GI-Joe scale version?

Craftsman tractor scale diecast metal models would be good.

Ope. Don't forget some push mowers (grey, red and black decks) and the Craftsman High-wheel Trimmer (Weed Wacker - powered by a Lawn Mower engine).

I think Levis still sells a belt or two with the necessary snaps to allow belt buckle swapping.

I'm thinking old Craftsman logos, different ratchet head types, maybe the profile of a power tool - like the C3 19.2 volt Drill/Driver.

Oh. A Craftsman robot - powered by a 19.2 volt C3 battery, that's remote controlled to drive around, bend down and grip stuff.

I'd use mine to help keep the store (or my workshop) more clean.
