LockedProject of the Month

posted on April 22, 2009 at 10:44PM Inappropriate?

This month's project was an Arbor with a swing.  My wife and I want to construct this in our yard.  Now, when I went to download it, the "new" project is a bridge.  Last time I looked, I did not have a stream in my back yard.  Seems to me that project of the month should mean all of the month.  I would contact the Craftsman Club directly, but I can't find an email addy.  Does anyone know where I can get these plans (for free of course).. Actually, Craftsman Club should replace the bridge with the arbor and swing and put the bridge up in May.

Hi blhlaw-

That sounds like such a neat project.  You will happy to have that this summer and in the future.  I am going to send your post on to the customer service team on this site.  Their screen name is SearsCares.  They should be able to help you.

Post some pictures when you are done!  Good luck!

Hi, Once you sign in to the site you can view all the past project pdfs including the arbor. I also noticed plans for a pergola.

Are you still working on some of these outdoor projects? We'd love to see them!

Hey! I've got a stream...

But, I already "have" a bridge.

Maybe a "second" bridge, down the stream, a ways?

An arbor would be good, too.

Got one in front.

Got it!

Ya gotta log on to the Craftsman Club site.

Verify who you are (seriously).

Goto Project of the Month.

Then, go to the archives where there's an arbor.

There's a separate project for the swing.

Each project has one page worth's of information, with no plans in PDF form.

You're going to have to look at the photographs and "use your imagination" a little.

Hi In your Craftsman Club Advertisement for the month of October 2009 was a project called SLIDING-DOOR CUPBOARD. I could not find a place to down load this project plan. Would help me so I can down load it. In the advertisement  you said it was free to download for Craftsman Members, which I am. If you want my number I will let you know if you will keep it a SECRET. Please let me know.

Thank you for your help,.

I am looking for the picnic table plans.  Where the heck are they?  You would think there would be a place where it says project of the month.  Sears, could we make it a little easier to find.

No...

I got a club membership number.

I got a password.

I hit the pic-ci-nic table picture and it took me back to the sign-in page.

I "found" it.

I just can't GET to it.

The Craftsman Club website it pretty useless.  In fact the whole sears.com website it pretty bad, since they changed it a few months ago.  It takes forever to load anything and find what you're looking for.

The same thing happens to me as you.  I sign in, then try to go to a project page, and it takes me back to the sign in page.  so I sign in, get to my profile page, then try to go to a project page, and then it sends me back to the login page.

It's a shame too.  They used to really have a nice thing going.
