LockedGetting Married Soon

I'm getting married soon and I'm taking my wifes last name. Do you guys know if I'm legally allowed to change my first name? I'm really getting tired of it and I'm thinking of going with a nice name like brian.

You can legally change your name to Pinnochio if you want  to.

You may have to go thru a separate process to change the first name. A few years ago I was changing my last name back to my maiden name and wanted to change my first name at the same time but the court wouldn't allow it.  It had to be a separate form, process, and fee (doesn't that figure) to change the first name.  You should check with your county court to find out what you have to do.
