LockedLarge Appliance Sales

I just had an uncomfortable and confusing experience buying a washer/dryer.  I first went in and spoke with 'Art', who was very helpful.  I still had some questions, so I returned a few days later and Art was not there, so I spoke with 'Bob', who was also very helpful.  I returned for a third visit and neither Art nor Bob were working, so I spoke with 'Cal' who was very helpful.  I spoke equally with all three salesmen and I know they are on commission.  When I went in to buy the washer/dryer, I didn't know who to speak with.  It just happened that Art was the first one we saw and he made the sale, but Bob and Cal were there also.  I felt uncomfortable because Bob and Cal were looking as if I should have asked for them and I was breaking some kind of protocol.  I couldn't wait to get out of there.

i bought a kenmore double oven after seeing an awesome sale, I did not need a new oven, thank goodness, but wanted to update. no problem selling me the oven and setting up delivery two weeks later, worked for me as well..the day of delivery the delivery man called and told me my appliance was not in. Called the store and they had to research several hours to decide what happened..turns out the item was not in and probably would not be for months. But it was on my charge card and i was being charged for it . no one could help nor did they want to , to include management of the Huntsville, AL store...I will never shop at Sears again as their customer service has really fallen down..I will go where I can talk to the salesperson and get the item I buy. Word of mouth and I will spread it as much as I can. Turns out lots of people have had problems just do not know where to complain...

Tealover, in such a circumstance, what would help is to mention that you've spoken with someone previously. That way, the person you're talking to will have appropriate expectations. If they don't know that you've spoken with someone else before you saw them, it could appear that the person getting the sale is poaching someone else's customer. We try to make sure everyone works as a team, but part of that requires communication, and obviously salespeople aren't going to discuss with everyone in the department every single customer they speak with, so the best thing to do is volunteer that information, so everyone's on the same page.

Hi there, madmomma!  Welcome to MySears!  I am going to send you a message to make sure you were taken care of with that credit.

Let me guess...this was a Kenmore wall oven during the 50% off sale.
