WHY SPAM THIS BOARD?

I think they read this board, I mean the people with moderator signs and community manager obviously work at corporate so they do read the board. Changes just take time.

This board has allowed Sears to get to know so many of it's loyal customers, and hear their complaints and advice. None of the comments on the board goes on deaf ears. They are heard and heeded. It is a terrific site for letting Sears know what folks would like from Sears. Just a great place to keep in touch with many of their shoppers.

I have had issues resolved by this board, it is not useless. I kept a detailed blog about it, please feel free to check it out. Because I had issues resolved I have no problems going back to Sears.

I wouldn't say this forum is useless. Ask all the people who've had issues resolved, either with questions answered or by SearsCares. And people are learning about things they never knew about, like Senior Discount days, and Family & Friends events, and KidVantage, and the Craftsman Club/Rewards program. I've seen more information change hands in 2 weeks than I've seen move from the uppy-ups to the grunts on the ground in 2 years. This is quantum leaps beyond the pace that the corporate offices keep.

And, note that many ideas are in the considering or launched stage without tons of votes. It's not always the number of votes (many multi-thousand ideas are still sitting around), but the idea itself that garners attention.

I think the point was how this may go on deaf ears. I produce plenty of ideas and suggestions but only get a slight tip of the hat, barely any votes and I know nothing is ever going to happen with them. I'm also certain all of these ideas have been considered by the corporation - this forum seems useless but whatever.

I'm just hoping this company's share price does not crater... again.

ya'll must be Sears employees. OK, not that makes alot of sense. I get on here to share my ideas and provide constuctive feedback. I hope everyone is doing that.

Umm...

Are we talking about "speed boat" rate of changes?

Or, are we talking about trying to slowly change the direction of a HUGE Corporate fleet of ships?

Because nearly everything at Sears is a "work in progress".

Sometimes the "changes" seem almost imperceptible, unless you are looking medium to long term (over a year).

That is what I said on the retail-worker.com forum for Sears. Do people from Hoffman Estates ever read that forum (that is read it without creating fake names to try and get information from associates)?

Edit: When I say changes, I mean changes other then adding soap to the bathrooms or using goo-gone. Changes such as non-livable wages, warranties that hold water, service that doesnt take two weeks min, etc.

basicly because he could he saw that there was little to no moderation over the week end so he went wild shoot maybe he tried to crash it by overloading it with the 40some post who knows

I want to make sure that everyone feels like they can voice their opinion here, even if that is negative. I do agree though that the goal here is to get constructive suggestions. I am glad that there are a lot of people here who are passionate, but if we can channel that energy into generating ideas I think we could really make a difference.

If you have issues with Sears, why not share them? Why resort to spamming this board? Isn't that a bit childish? Maybe something will come out of this forum that will lead to improvements. Spamming the board with your hate for Sears isn't helping anything.
