thx for sharing that information, but i have been there before, actually i live ther like for a year...i wen to the port limon, turrialba volcano, the rainforest that is in cartago, i went to the beach in guanacaste, and the coco's island...i have a house vacation down there in the small town of turrialba, cartago...i like pretty much that country,,, very small and a lot of adventure....

I would love to go to Japan. Visit some of the temples and castles, soak in a nice hot spring and stay at a traditional Japanese hotel. Then also visit Tokyo and do some shopping there!

Even more than the shopping though, I'd love to go while the Sakura, Cherry Blossom, Trees are blooming. They're such beautiful trees! I also wouldn't mind going to a Japanese festival, they look like so much fun!

You know I was on a plane not too long ago talking with a woman from Puerto Rico and she was sharing with me all of the things the island offers - unique nature experiences and beaches. Its close to you there in Miami and wouldn't require a passport!

Also, I've been to Costa Rica and found it offered a great blend of adventure and relaxation. There are rain forests (with zip lines!), an active volcano, hiking for the active side and lots of great pools and beaches (with surfing) on the east coast. The west coast doesn't have great beaches but some of the great national parks are on that side. The good news is the country is small enough you can travel a lot of it in a week or so.

I'd be interested to hear ideas from others as well!
