Sears master card

Good point Mike. Also the card is not issued by Sears, it is issued by Citi Bank. They are the ones you have the beef with. I know, I know the card said Sears on it and the customer does not care what bank it is with, Sears is still responsible. I have a card with a Dallas Cowboy logo on it, does that mean Jerry Jones is the one I should complain to?

Sources Of Reliable Information

Perhaps he did not, but I had read it previously. There are several similar articles about the web. That is why I asked for a source of 'reliable information', I know that there is 'all sorts' of negative information out there, but what is it based on, other than speculation? Other than the three posts on this thread from 'Sears' employees, I have seen nothing positive.

Sears Latest Mehod Of 'Selling' Master Protection Agreements

Kevin.

i do have to agree with a lot of what you say and I do not believe I would 'fall for it' but that is just me. I also agree with BigMike in that a customer should not have to remove an item but add it.

As I have said before the alacrity with which the pratice was stopped leaves me suspicious that there may well have been a motive other th customer satisfaction taken into consideration.
