Hi ckckne, if you lost a gift card try calling the store where it was purchased. They should be able to locate the transaction using the credit card number, cancel the original card and reissue one...if it hasn't been used.

I know same here as I didn't think so either until I actually found a 3rd party merchant item on our website and it allowed me to use a Sears Card for payment... Kinda good to know :)

Hi NeoGeo, Yes a Sears gift card can be used on Sears.com for marketplace items. During the checkout process when you are on the payment section of the order, click on the "Use Sears/Kmart Lands End gift card payment link in blue towards the bottom of the screen. That will allow you to input your card number and pin number. Hope this helps! :)

Hey Silversmiles~ Sears and KMart offer GC online.I luv them. Your daughter can use it to shop at the store or online. You can also call customer service and they can assist you with your purchase. Either way I am sure you will be happy with your purchase and your dau/son n law will be delighted to recieve the GC. Congrats to your family:)

Go to sears.com in the space for keyword or item# type in "gift card" it will take you to the gift card main page. You can then select mail it. Then it takes you to another page to select the style you want. You can also select the message that goes along with it. Hopefully this helps.

That is correct. Gift cards are only for store merchandice.

Generally I purchase gift cards.I try to keep reciepts for the mere fact it is a "gift card." As "here2help" was here to help,He is correct there is a number on back of the gift card to check balance if you don't keep up with it mentally.

I have never experienced any problem with getting my balance.When I am at a balance of $0,I generally tuck it in a seperate compartment of my purse to avoid using it to prevent "humiliation"@ check out.The card balances are accurate,there's no way to alter the balance.
