What is the Christmas Club card?
The Christmas Club card is a way of saving ahead on a gift card for holiday purchases. You can go to any Sears (Sears.com) or Kmart (Kmart.com) and activate a Christmas Club card.
What do I get for activating a Christmas Club card?
In addition to the value you add, you get a reward of 3% added to your card based on the balance you have on your card on November 14, 2009(cards must be activated before Oct. 31, 2009).
How can I add additional value to my Christmas Club card?
You can add additional value as often as you like at any Kmart or Sears store or by going online at Kmart.com or Sears.com.
When does the Christmas Club card promotion begin and end?
The Christmas Club card promotion begins August 16, 2009 and runs through November 14, 2009. Cards can be activated anytime during this period, but rewards will only apply to those who activate a card by October 31, 2009.
Does the value on the Christmas Club card expire?
As with all our gift cards, the value on your Christmas Club card does not expire and you can continue to add value to it in the future. However, you will only receive a reward based on the value of the card on November 14, 2009 - and only if youve activated your card by October 31, 2009.
How much does it take to activate a Christmas Club card and how often will I have to add cash?
It doesnt cost anything to activate your card, but you will need a minimum balance of $5 in order to use it. You can add as much value to your card as often as you like.
How does the reward work?
A 3% reward (up to $100 per card) will be added to your card based on the balance on your Christmas Club card on November 14, 2009. The reward will be added to your card by November 25, 2009.
Do I have to go to the store to get the reward added to my Christmas Club card?
No, the reward will be automatically added to your card by November 25, 2009.
Can I track my reward prior to the end of the promotion?
No, the reward calculation will not occur until after November 14, 2009. You can always check your card balance by calling the toll-free number on the back of your card, by checking the balance at any Kmart or Sears store, or by checking online at Sears.com or Kmart.com.
Where can I use my Christmas Club card?
The Christmas Club card can be used at any Sears store (Sears.com), Kmart store (Kmart.com), MyGofer.com, Lands End (Landsend.com), and The Great Indoors (ThegreatIndoors.com).
When can I use my Christmas Club card?
Once you activate your card and add value, you can use your Christmas Club card anytime. Remember, the 3% added to your card is only earned on the value you have on your Christmas Club card on November 14, 2009.
Are there any fees associated with the card?
As with all our gift cards, there are absolutely no fees associated with having a Christmas Club card.
Can I redeem for cash instead of merchandise?
The Christmas Club card cannot be redeemed for cash or applied to your Sears, or Kmart credit accounts, except where required by law.
What happens if I lose my Christmas Club card?
Lost, stolen or damaged Christmas Club cards may only be canceled and replaced with the required proof of purchase. Your receipt will serve as your proof of purchase so be sure to keep all of your receipts.
