Usually the back will either pop off or unscrew from a watch. Many jewelers will install a watch battery purchased from them for free, so that may be your best option.

I have a Craftsman watch by Relic...model ZM10020....I need to know how do I get the back off to change the battery inside the watch? I tried contacting Sears but they don't have a record of this watch. I bought it at Sears around 11 or 12 years ago. Can someone hel me please? Thank you

I have found the perfect ring for me. When I try to order it, I get a message that says "this item not available to ship in your area". And then when I check store availability it says that no stores within 300 miles of me have it either. What can I do?

I think it can vary. Depends what is on the ring. If there is a lot of detail it may take longer. I needed to get my engagement ring resized and it took about 6 weeks because I had detail all the way around. However when I had my wedding band sized it didn't take as long because of the opposite. Hope that helps!

Sears jewelry return policy

There is a 30 day return policy in fine jewelry. Tags must be attached and receipt must be used for a return.

However, purchases made between 11/14-12/14 have an extended return policy of 90 days due to the holiday season. Any purchases made after 12/15 would follow the normal 30 day return policy.

My wife bought several items of jewelry on Black Friday. The front of the receipt said we had until February 24, 2011 to return the items. (In small print it said to check the even smaller print on the back.) Well, sure enough, when we went to Sears 2 days ago to return 2 items, we were told that jewelry only had a 30 day return policy!

We spoke to a manager, who agreed to allow the return in exchage for store credit. But when the clerk rang up the return, the computer automatically credited our credit card for the full amount. So, it worked out well.

The stores carry a variety of sizes on sale rings, but a limited number of sizes on other rings. Also the stores do not carry half sizes. Remember that each ring will fit differently depending on the width of the ring. For example my husband fit into a size 11 in a plain band ring but needed a 11 1/2 in a decorative ring that had a thicker band. If you need to order a ring, do it through the store, you save on shipping this way and it is easier to return if the ring doesn't fit. I learned this one the hard way.

It can but normally "custom" jewelry has to be sent back not returned in store.
