Hi tootired, do you have a tractor? The high speed sweeper works great on the surface but If the acorns are matted down, not so much.

Does a lawn sweeper pick up acorns? I have a few Oak trees and IM getting tired of raking up every other day. IM 84 and it's getting to much for me.

Unfortunately, they're stupid CITY trees.

You have to get permission to cut'm down or even trim them.

Although, that one neighbor, down the block that "trimmed" his to owe... about 12 feet tall was hilarious!

I don't see no more LEAVES on that thing.

For that matter, the branches are all gone!

Gall-darn if the thing didn't grow back, though.

And, if one of the tree's roots pushes up a sidewalk or curb, it's YOUR tree - then.

You've got to adjust the nose height up high enough to "clear" the sticky balls.

But, low enough to pick up any heavy green ones.

Makes a great sound when they hit the mulching impeller.

Yes it does, I have several sweet gum trees on my property and my lawn sweeper gets them up with no problem. I never even thought of the sweet gum seed pods when I bought the lawn sweeper, but it has not let me down yet!
