Definitely not KitchenAid, they only manufacture standmixer in the USA.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find a display of the Kenmore Mixer in the store Housewares Department.

It's compatible with KA accessories for sure. It actually has better features-2 mixing bowls,more power(compared to KA artisan model), ergonomic speed dial with cool blue LED, work light for mixing and it looks more squarish, modern and substantial than KA's artisan model. I think it's the best stand mixer that Kenmore has built ever.

It's got an attachment port very similar to the KA models. KA could make a square shroud for the head and keep the guts the same (similar to the Kenmore Oasis having a different housing than the Cabrio). We'll have to see when it hits the floor whether it's compatible with KA stuff, I guess.

It's a little too squarish to be a direct Kitchenaid unit.
