Syncmaster monitor?

I recently looked at buying a Samsung Syncmaster (forgot the model number) LED monitor. However, finances got in the way as they so often do, and I had to defer my purchase until i had more available funds. I haven't looked at monitors in a while and wanted to know if the syncmaster was still the best LED monitor for the price. If not, what would you suggest? I'm looking for a monitor around 25", 1080p resolution and low response times-- I like my video games.

Is their a way to protect a monitor from spills or other liquid damages? Like when liquid runs down the screen and at the bottom gets under the glass or screen. Is there a cover that can be put over the front of the monitor that will keep liquid from doing any damage, but let you use the monitor for everyday computer use? Any help would be appreciated

In my experience with monitors, as long as the plug fits your video out then it will work. Don't worry about the monitor having a Vista logo on it, its probably there because microsoft paid Acer to put it there.

I have a notebook, its screen size is 14.1". I would like to buy a big monitor to use with my notebook. The notebook runs with Windows XP, the monitor 23" Acer that has a Vista logo on it. Can they work well together? Your feedbacks will be very appreciated.

Ordering Online From Sears

I just recently ordered a computer monitor from Sears online. After dealing with a less than willing customer rep I finally was able to get Sears to honor the free shipping. I gave the address to the rep several times asking her to make sure the suite number was on the shipping address. Of course, when I got the shipping email there was no suite number. So I called and spoke to another rep and she was going to fix the issue. After waiting 10 minutes while she called UPS, I was cut off but hoped for the best. Needless to say it wasn't fix and I still don't have my monitor. Double check and triple check Sears. I was going to order a phone next but I have decided to use another company. Now, the computers are down and they still can't fix my problem. I'm very disappointed again in Sears. I suggest looking elsewhere until Sears can fix there problems. Very sad!
