I borrowed one from a good friend of mine and used it to lift my Electra Glide (850 pounds) and it did it without any problems. The guy I borrowed the jack from had an 1800cc Goldwing.

I am considering buying a motorcycle jack from Sears. Does anyone have any information on them. Are they worth the money? Is the quality any good? I have a VTX1300C, Will the jack handle this bike?

battery

I think you put it in the left slot on the right had side of your wallet? Unfortunately Lowes doesn't sell Diehard batteries which are the best on the market right now. The store manager obviously didn't swap you out for a new one for a reason, or couldn't order a new part in for you because maybe that particular battery or group size has been discontinued or on back order through the manufacturer directly. We are seeing alot of this especially with motorcycle and marine batteries in alot of Sears Auto Centers, which are having a hard time keeping up with demand. There are always 2 sides to a story, which alot of people on here fail to leave on when they post! Just food for thought!

battery

Just purchased a motorcycle battery from the Watchung N.J. store. Arriving home i discovered that the filler cap strip was missing from the box. In years past this would not be a problem but today I was told if you buy a battery with the box open;although it was retaped shut, then you take your chances. What a great company policy buy our products and take your chances. Talked to manager than to supervisor and was told they could not even order another one for me, who is running this company. The rest of the company should follow the Craftman motto if it breaks we will replace it , instead they sell products which are broken and then do nothing to remedy the situation. Where is my Lowes credit card.
