The Android system is great. It allows for complete customization. I don't think you would be disappointed with a Droid

for magic jack / vonage / any over the internet voice provider users

it would be best to buy those multiple handset phones. your base will be hooked up to magic jack / etc & the other units are capable of communicating with it from other rooms. i bought a uniden 5 handset set for $75 (one for each room, living room, & kitchen)

yes you can use it win 7 (just run compatiblity wizard)

the disadvantage of magic jack is that your pc has to be turned on for it to work. meaning if it is off you can not receive any calls. its great for those people that wish to make international calls to one location (just buy that other person a magic jack & all calls are free). this was the reason our house went with vonage over magic jack. vonage gives unlimited calls to 30 diff countries (UK & India being the reason we switched to them).

Magic Jack uses VOIP (voice over internet protocol) technology so the calls go in and out via the internet rather than over phone lines. The telephone has to be connected directly into the computer so I do not believe that you can keep it in the kitchen unless your computer is in the kitchen as well.

Confused - info on site says you connect it to the internet, then use it like a regular phone. Why do you have to connect it to the internet? Is that to download something, then you can plug your phone into the wall and keep it in the kitchen or wherever like before?

Motorola cliq seems to have a pretty easy user interface and I haven't had any issues.

What she was trying to say was that for now on she was going to pay with debit card, once she completes the transaction with her SEARS credit card and then only use the debit card for shopping.

She is correct!!! Gracias por esa informacion tiene mucha razon en cuanto a los gastos de una tarjeta de credito y lo q se ahorra uno con la de debito, igualmente el unico problema q se da es que con tarjeta de credito se hacen mas cosas que con una de debito, pero mejor prevenir que lamentar

I have a storm now and my girlfriend has a droid. We've had more problems than those phones are worth, or what they cost us anyway. Both of us wish verizon would just get the iphone already.

Looking for something new. I've tried Linux on Internet tablet, tried Symbian smart phones from Nokia,, WM, had a a taste of iPhone , Blackberry and others.

Haven't tried Android yet. Is it worth of trying?

I know I will never find a perfect phone but at least something that would make me productive with daily tasks. Otherwise all you do finding updates, patches or fixing software or even hardware...so tired of that. Just want to get a device that will serve me not the way around...
