Excuse my spelling 'toe' should read tow, and 'ponds' should read pounds.

RV Wheels and Tires are quite different than your vehicle tire and wheels.

RV Wheels and Tires are designed to take a much more severe stress when you turn the tow vehicle.

The Rim, or Wheel as you may call it, has a much deeper groove at the point where the tire seals on the rim. Again, the tire also has charactoristics unlike a car. The tires designed for the RV Wheels have a larger area of contact on the rim. Combine the RV Wheel/Rim and the RV tire, and you have a much greater resistance of pulling the tire away from the wheel/rim.

You may also see that the tire pressure is relatively constant, depending on the ambient temperature. Thus you may seldom need to check the air pressure, except for the temperature and any puncturing of the tire.

Read the wording on the side of the tire. Most of your driving is done at highway speed. You should always keep the toe vehicle tires and the RV tires three ponds below the MAXIMUM
