Nothing comes through espresso machine

Can't get any water to come through the Kenmore Elite Espresso machine 200.12930, after not using it for four months. Tried everything, including a decalcifying vinegar/water concoction, and trying to get water through without the holder attached. Pump sounds like it's working.

Maybe there's a way to prime it?

Any ideas anyone?

Black and Decker hasn't made this unit since the late 80's. I can gaurantee they are not going to have any in stock anywhere in the country. Honestely, your best bet would be ebay.com or your local craigslist for this item. Hope this helps!

Actually, the part # is 5519-3056 ("carbon bag"), and is available via a circuitous search on Sears coffee makers and parts for your 100-81666. Online order - $2.16 ea. A local Sears might be easier, although not many seem to carry the filter replacements.

With all respect, I like the taste of the coffee without the filter. To be fair, we use filtered water from the fridge in the carafe, but prefer the taste w/out the charcoal filter regardless of fridge filtered or tap water. Just my $0.02

Why spend the money for the big name brand, you still get JUNK made in China. But its made to GE's or AT&T or whomever's standards,(they say) Its short term use Junk made to get your money and your back buying it again next year. I started buying the cheapest crap on the market use it then throw it away. Bad thing is after you've used some of this stuf you find it is contaminated with lead or chemicals or has poisoned your pet or your kids.. I'm sick of it. Give me back the stuff made in the USA that is put together with screws and bolts that lasts 10 or 20 years. I'll pay more. We need to quit buying this junk off the boat and maybe they will get the message. All I hear is recycle, our landfills are full, then turn around and sell nothing but throw away products.. The only way I have found to fight back is to buy older stuff on eBay... Ronchatex
