noisy chains

Chains are rubbing against fastners for the weight tray. Making a lot of noise that can not be good for the tractor or chains. Lawn tractor is a 917 model YS4500 with 20 x 10.00-8 tires. Using the recommend part number 24860 chains hooked in the second link. Would it help to reduce the pressure in the tires slightly in order to reach the third link and then bring them back to the correct pressure thereby tightning the chains? Chains were installed according to directions in the carton but it seems as if there is very little clearance between the tires and inner fender well and/or the weight tray fastners. Any help appreciated.

Go to your Sears store. Find an Lt1500 or another tractor with the 18x9.5 tire. The part number for the chains needed for that tractor/tire size will be on a label inside the hood.
