Looking for Wet Vac Nozzle Parts

Also appreciate the tip on the $4.00 differential.

It is just such a waste to replace the whole nozzle, because the obviously replaceable squeegee does not hold.

Craftsman used to equal quality. The hoses are flimsy also. I think it's a scam to have to buy the Extra Durable Hose to get something decent. 16932 should come standard with a 20-gallon vac (maybe even the 16-gallon).

Of course the parts are probably now all made in China! Heck, the whole darn vac is probably made in China!

Yes,part # 822256 will serve that purpose.Available from searspartsdirect.com but they state it is on backorder right now.Also note that the squegee costs 5.99 and a whole new 17817 nozzle costs 9.99

Anybody know if they sell replacement squeegee (rubber blade with holes along that fits in between two plastic sections) that inserts into 2.5 inch Wet Nozzle Model No. 17817

It will fit on your vac but your existing accesorries will not fit on deluxe car cleaning kit hose.

Actually, any Craftsman wet dry vac (other than the 4 gallon unit) has a blower port. The 2 gallon would be the smallest but for increasing performance consider the 5 gallon wall vac and the rest of the line, as well.

If I understand your question, I would use a High Efficiency (fine dust) filter bag (17896) to capture all the fine debris, and be able to easily clean & empty.

I work with a wet/dry vac manufactuering company, and have never heard of such a fuse.

As to the other question... Unfortunetly the strongest and smallest don't usually go together. However the Craftman 4gallon (17776) is very powerful for it's size, but has no blower. For that you need the 2, 6, or 9 gallon vacs. The larger the more powerful, so I'll leave that for you to determine.

There are three filters you can use: HEPA filter, fine dust filter, or the Gore Teflon-treated HEPA filter. All will work well, but I always recommend the Teflon-treated filter (and use one myself) because it is washable AND doesn't have to be removed for wet pick-up. It will last much longer than the HEPA or fine dust filters.

Yes, remove the filter. Water coming out the exhaust is normal.

I used my handheld wet-dry vac often uti used it for the first time today to suck up water and it did fine except the exhaust hole was blowing water out the other end... What to do? Also, am I supposed to remove the filter before sucking up water?

I have never seen a wet-dry vac with a fuse.They do have motors,switches and cords,and any of these could potentially fail,resulting in a no-run situation.

Can anyone tell me if wet dry vacs have a fuse that could blow and make them not work.... I plugged my wet dry vac in a socket and I saw a spark, heard the motor, and then it just quit... and will not start at all.

I am also wondering if anyone can tell me the smallest and srtongest sucking wet dry vac that has a blower....that is not too expensive. Thanks for any information

Thank you. Does this mean that there is an adapter with or for the 9 gallon craftsman wet dry vac that uses the 1 7/8" hose? Because I would really like to have the deluxe kit if it would work with my vac.
