I bought some real feathers from a website and clipped them into my hair... so cute it cost $30 for ten feathers and all the tools to clip them in. I took a trip down the shore and found a guy offering to put in 1 feather for $35! I was glad i got them online and did it myself!

Ha-I'm with Paula. Our 22 year old neighbor has one, though and it is SUPER cute. I love it and would totally go there if I was under 30.

I have nothing trendy, but just b/c I am pretty conservative in my dress, these days. I love the shoes that are called "booties", though. Hope to pick up a pair for the Fall!

Has anyone seen the latest hair trend of wearing feathers? I recently went out and bought a few feather accessories to wear in my hair. I love all of them they are so fun and unique. Are any of our members blooming fashionistas? What trendy new things do you have?

Here it is Thursday, December 30th, and the pricing on this item has not yet been fixed. But now the grey coat is out of stock in size Large. I wonder how many people purchased this coat at the incorrect, inflated price without realizing it, and does Sears intend to notify and refund them? I feel I have followed the correct procedure throughout this entire ordeal, and have been treated by Sears as though I was asking for something impossible
.....it's a $45 coat!!!

I think Sear's customer service is going to hurt Sears significantly more than the price of a coat. Sears (and its managers) should be held accountable for misrepresentation, false advertising, and just plain BAD customer service!

That is the point that I was trying to make, even though some of the blue pom pom crew wants to try to say that Sears is not at fault. You tried to buy something at the advertised price, and system tried to charge you double. When you called for assistance, they offered you 10% off the higher price. Even with the $9.00 discount they offered, you would be paying $35.99 more than the advertised price.

Before they get the problem fixed, the item you want is now not available. You have wasted time and effort and will not get what you wanted. This should have been handled quickly, by selling you the item that you wanted at the advertised sale price.

I have the same problem tonight. I want to buy a jacket that is listed at $19.99 on the banner, but when I go to checkout the price is $29.99 I called and the woman I spoke to said that the checkout price is the correct one and that they haven't updated their prices yet. By the way if ErinM sees this, my name is Christy and I'd like the blue and black plaid women's faux-sherpa fleece hooded jacket in a medium size. In fact, I'll buy another color if I can get that price! I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks.

Obviously they are trying to get this fixed. If you hadn't noticed all the moderators postings above trying to assist this customer right away. For once bigmike4511 would you give Sears a break.

My comment was about the fact that the customer contacted custome service to try to find out why there was a problem, and was told that rather than honoring the sale price (which from what has been posted here was correct) they were only offered 10% off a much higher price.

While the mods here are trying to help, this issue should have been handled well before the customer had to post the problem here, My point is simple, mistakes happen, but they should be handled without the customer having to jump through hoops to get what was advertised,

I would rather the customer get the break than the store. The store exists to serve the customer, the customer does not exist to serve the store.

Not to be totally negative here, but isn't it asking a lot to expect the customer (who is spending their hard earned money, and is shopping on line because it is more convenient) to wait to make a purchase until Sears gets their act together?

While this customer may wait and make the purchase, how many more will see the price problem, and decide to buy something else, and / or someplace else? Again, this seems to be a problem with the corporate culture, rather than expecting the company to get it right the first time, they expect the customer to adapt and to be inconvenienced.

I understand that mistakes happen, but when they do, they need to be corrected quickly.. This customer called to find out why the price was different, and rather than being told that there was an error, and making sure that the customer could make the purchase at the advertised price, the “customer service” agent offered 10% off the higher (wrong) price. How many customers would give up at that point, rather than coming to the board here? How many customers even know about these boards?

I would love to see customer service become a Sears priority again, but right now it does not seem to be.

Hi Gubbetta, I have learned that there is a glitch in the pricing system. This coat should in fact be 70% off ($45) as you mention above. However, the system is not coding pricing properly. I am waiting for further information and timing on a resolution and will keep you updated. There is a team working to fix the issue.
