Where are the Craftsman pants and polos?

I love the Craftsman jeans, too, and was sad to see them disappear! I know the twill workpants have been replaced with duck/canvas workpants. I don't know about the polos, either...they make great work shirts for Sears Blue Crew associates, though! :)

I noticed the Craftsman Jeans and Craftsman Polos are going away from Sears.com :( I love the pants and the polos that craftsman had! They both are very comfortable! The Craftsman jeans I can honestly say were better then my Levis. Please bring them back. They will be missed.

Favorite Craftsman Pants Vanished From Inventory?

It's been several years ago (perhaps five or more) that I bought a few pairs of Craftsman work pants. I really liked the durability of the pants. I returned to buy a few more pairs and was unable to find them, and in searching the Sears.com site, I couldn't find them there.

To describe the Craftsman denim work pant:

It was a raised-red-labeled Craftsman and had a black re-enforced patch sewn into the right front coin and hand pocket where I could carry my tape measure. The same black re-enforced patch was sewn into the top border of the right rear pocket. Regular re-enforcing denim patches were sewn into the high stress areas of the knees. The pant had a loop sewn into the right thigh/leg area for a hammer etc. (which I sometimes used) The pant was also Teflon impregnated to resist stains.

I find similar pant styles at Sears but the one I really liked seems to have dissapeared.

I agree!

And, down there in the stream and pond "trenchs" no neighbors need get skittish about my little exercising.

Of course, the mad scientist, maniacle laugh will still "carry"...

I've got it narrowed down to a nice sugar-cane machete, I done found in a local antique shop.

It cuts real good, and is nice and light, for hours of delight!

Still gotta FIND a pair of waders, though.

Maybe KMart?

They carry fish'n stuff...

Craftsman's got special steel-tipped shoe/boot socks!

I would imagine a little extra padding at the tip, to keep the steel tips off of one's toes...

I've got the brownish-white pair.

Hey...

Sears.com sells Waders!

I can clean out the creek and two ponds this coming season, when the creek water volume and pond water levels go down.

Let me see...

Gonna need my fold-up hand pruning saw, the C3 Recip Saw, the Cultivator claw, the thorn resistant gloves and maybe a plastic-handled machete (don't want either the wood or leather handled tools falling into the water) and I'm gonna need some sort of ladder affair to get me down into and back outa the water.

This is going to be so much FUN!

Which is OK.

The Tool Department folks, who also cover Lawn & Garden, and Exercise, and Paint already have been told to wear some form of non-company provided blue shirts.

The important thing is to NOT match the original Blue Crew shirts, lest Customers think we are Appliance Sales Associates (a good way to "get hurt" if an appliance is sold by one of us - non-major appliance Sales Associates).

When I was originally going to make cards of my own a few years ago, the DM at the time put the kibosh on it. However, having seen many other associates at other stores doing it, and having a new DM encouraging people to do anything they think will increase their sales, I went ahead and made my own. Yeah, I used the Sears Essentials logo. I've seen many other self-made cards with it, and unless you were using the cards for something other than Sears business, I can't imagine anyone would have any problem with it.

Remember, it's always easier to get forgiveness than permission.

The Tool Department Associates never received ANY blue shirts, even though the company wanted us to wear "blue" shirts.

So, three different Sales Associates can be found in the department, sporting three DIFFERENT shades of blue shirts, all collared.

I've got a nice button-down shirt with someone "swinging a hammer, while riding a horse" logo.

Had a Customer come in with an "Outlet Store" flier, advertising 50 percent off on all exercise machines.

Sorry.

This is a Mall Store...

This machine is 300 dollars off, if you'd care to take a look at it, I have the magnetic key to get it started.
