Wow I couldn't believe it. I thought disneyworld was for younguns!!! But now this old fella believes it is for all. My wife and I had a great time at disneyworld with our 27 year old daughter and her boyfriend during the last week. Fortunately being retired military I was able to get a 5 day comp ticket free and paid $99 dollars per ticket for my wife, daughter and boyfriend for entry into the park. Disneyworld appreciates the sacrifices of veterans and current service members and therefore the reduced fee charge. I had read many reviews of Disneyworld that talked about long lines and pricey food which wasn't too good. Well yes the food is pricey however it is good, but I expected that in a theme park. Fortunately because we went in January the lines really weren't that long - The longest wait we had was about 50 minutes at Soarin at Epcot Centre which was well worth the wait!! Of course we were there during off season so it wasn't so bad. Animal Kingdom and Epcot were both worth the trip to Orlando for these old fogies!!! I imagine the other parks will be fine if I take my grandchildren there so I can see the parks through their eyes and experiences but I know now that Disney caters to all ranges of ages!!! Yes it is expensive - crowded - however I did see young folks with back packs loaded with sandwiches and drinks for their families to cut back on costs. Parking was twelve dollars per day, but cheaper than going to a professional football game!! Ok so yes it was crowded and yes it was expensive - but the experience - the shows - the sights were fantastic - so I can only say that you need to save and see it as it is a once in a lifetime experience for all!!!
