Kenmore 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher w/ Ultra Wash System
Purchased this dishwasher and installed it the same day. Unit leaked from thre right front corner of the door. contacted the sales department and they indicated that service should take a look at the unit. Five repairs and four weeks later sears opted to replace the appliance with a new one. Received the new dishwasher and installed it the same day and-- you guessed it-- the new dishwasher leaked from the very same spot. According to the service department they believe that they have gotten a run of units with warpped tubs. BEWARE!
Samsung 29.0 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator w/ Premium External Water & Ice Dispenser
This wonderful refrigerator replaces our 25 cu ft Kenmore Elite French Door that was a year and a half old. A bottom freezer can't be beat for convenience. Easy access to the refrigerator section is important to shorter persons with bad backs and this unit welcomes the challenge..
This refrigerator has easy access to everything! The well lit interior allows viewing into all the drawers to immediately determine location of items. A sliding in/out shelf opens for taller items in the front while reserving the back of that shelf for shorter items. It is very easy keep this refrigerator organized...
review »Whirlpool 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher w/ Soak & Scour
We have had several dishwashers in the last 20 years. We even had a Whirlpool one that was the basic model and it was just ok. I was hesitant to buy this one, because of the bad review about storage and cleaning. Wow, was I suprised! This dishwasher is HUGE, so much bigger than our last Whirlpool. The cleaning is awesome, I even put 2 day old caked on dishes, pans, and silverware to see how well the soak and scour worked. Every dish and piece of silverware was spotless. The dishwasher also goes almost to the floor so you get a additional 5 inches inside so even super tall pans and cups fit. I would...
review »Kenmore Elite Oasis 4.6 cu. ft. Canyon Capacity Washer
I researched washes for 2 months trying to find the right one; small yet large enough to hold large items like blankets; decided on this size as it was in-between. I am mortified that I cannot control the water level. What moron designed this?? I can set all kinds of temps; `types of washes', mess with time but NOT WATER LEVEL. With large loads, tis is exasperating as the water does not cover the clothes. Even if I mess witht the load, or rearrange it, I might get another inch of water, then it shuts off and continues `washing'. UGH!!
Kenmore 3.1 cu. ft. High Efficiency Front Load Washer
If you live in an off grade home.. this washing machine will shake your whole house during the spin cycle. I had to buy shock absorbers for the washer, and it still vibrates the house. At 1025 rpm for the spin cycle.. its crazy that there is no internal shock absorption. The sales staff did not warn be about this and I bought the machine at Sears! in the store.. which is now closed.
I had very poor installation service, very poor customer support. The machine is not large capacity.. but it does save water! Clothes are clean. I just try not to use it.. never use the high spin cycle.. just...
review »Kenmore 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher
I owned similar 2003 and 2005 Kenmores at my former homes that I LOVED. When I moved to my new house, I decided to replace the ancient dishwasher with this model. Like most other reviewers, I bought this dishwasher based on the CR reviews, and have been sorely disappointed. It cleans no better than the 15-year-old dishwasher it replaced. I only get a decent cleaning when I use the longest, hottest cycles (turbo jets, power wash, and sani rinse), and then I still have to rewash at least 1/4 of the load again.
The most frustrating part is the clip that holds the bottom back row in place. ...
review »Kenmore Elite Oasis Agitator 4.5 cu. ft. Capacity Top-Load Washer
I like the washer, but sometimes you just need an extra rinse...and this machine makes you do the entire cycle over just to get an extra rinse. I know you can choose the second rinse option, but that decision needs to be made before you start the cycle. For me, when I was figuring out how much soap is needed for different load cycles- my laundry came out still soapy a couple times...And I had to run the entire cycle again just to make sure it got rinsed; ridiculus! Otherwise- it is a good machine!
Kenmore Drop-In Bobbin Sewing Machine - 90 Stitch Functions, Built-in 1-Step Buttonhole
You get what you pay for !! buy cheap, get cheap. Put simply, I hate this machine. It was bought as a gift by my Mother in law so at least my own $$$ were not wasted that is the only bonus. Next week I am going to have to take it back to Sears for a service or repair (not sure which it will need) probably both but anyhoo....
Tension is awful, constantly having to fiddle with the knob, it's ok for a bit then have to have another fiddle with the knob, bobbin winder works great if you only like your bobin 2/3 full. The drop in bobbin method is fiddly, have to make sure it drops/winds down the groove!!!...
review »Kenmore Canister Vacuum with HEPA Filtration, Blue
Bought this several months ago and really love it. It is so quiet compared to my last vacuum (not a Kenmore). The vacuum seems to glide over the carpet. Good suction. The floor feature is pretty good but I will use the carpet feature on my bare floor. Seems to work better. The attachments are easy to use. We have 3 dogs and it picks up pet hair on the furniture. Would recommend this product.
Kenmore Elite 70 pint Dehumidifier w/ Built-In Pump & Remote Control
We purchased this dehumidifier on 11/14/09. We decided to go with the this one for a couple of reason....the 70 pints it holds, the pump and the wireless remote monitoring. On the first night we let it run on Auto....24 hours later...no water in the bucket....the next day same thing. So I set it to manual...and it never shuts off...as for the remote...that is useless! The temp is way off and the humidity is off too even when it is running you get different reading but still way off! Automatic mode does not work at all! And our basement is damp...you can smell it. And forget about the manual...
review »Kenmore 11 amp Upright Vacuum, Tan & Brown
This is a horrible product. Sears should be embarrassed to sell it. When I first took it home I was very pleased. It was a good deal and worked great. The second time the belt broke. Sears fixed it, I took it home and then the motor blew. I took it in for repairs and got it back two weeks later. I didn't even make it through my living room when it quit working all together. Finally I took it back and made them exchange it. I'd give it zero stars but that wasn't an option.
Kenmore 600 3.5 cu. ft. Capacity Top-Load Washer
Very disappointed! We replaced all of our appliances with Kenmore products (moved to a different place). The washer and dryer were our last to be purchased. On Labor Day weekend I went to buy a specific washer and dryer but the sales person talked me into buying the 600 series, and I regret it. The washer is very loud and the tub bangs against the sides no matter what size load I put in. I had to have someone come and fix the machine already because plastic parts were coming out the bottom. The washer also would move out of place and scratched the side of my dryer and now I have to wait...
review »Pampered Chef Large Round Baking Stone - 1370
I have multiple pampered chef products - would like lots more but on a limited budget can't afford everything I want. Baking stone does get discolored easily but doesn't effect the usage.
Whirlpool 4.0 cu. ft. I.E.C. Super Capacity Plus Top-Load Washer
I have been looking for the last two months and finally settled on this washer based on the reviews here. I was satisfied with the features, yet concerned about not having control of the water level. It was delivered yesterday and I have run a few loads with it. First and foremost, this think is LOUD. Everything works correctly, it is leveled properly and the spin cycle is not the issue. (Spin is actually the quietest cycle.) It sounds like there was no effort made whatsoever to insulate or reduce the noise in any way. The switches between each cycle are very loud and...
review »LG 4.2 cu. ft. Capacity Front Load Washer
I felt compelled to write a review after my washer broke & I was in the market for a new one. Since it is not a option to be without a washer for long, I researched my new purchase as quickly as possible and the reviews of the products were most helpful in my ultimate choice. I used **************** ratings as a starting point but found many reviews of the top recommended brands showed common problems. I narrowed it down to the LG washer, which I ultimately purchased, and a Samsung. Both washers offered the same features but I went with the LG due to the fact it was an inch smaller in depth and...
