Kenmore Elite 24 in. Elite Built-In Dishwasher w/ Ultra Wash HE Filtration
I spent a lot of time researching for a dishwasher that would be quiet, energy & water efficient, clean well, and rated well by ****************. I initially was going to buy a Bosch, but ended up buying the Kenmore Elite 1312. Bosch recently put out new models and Sears did not have any on the floor (though on website) for me to check out and there was a lengthy wait time for Bosch DW delivery. I did read the reviews on Sears.com about the Kenmore and they were very mixed (unlike reviews on Bosch). Since the Kenmore was rated highly on Consumers Report, I thought I would be fine with it...and...

Kenmore Elite Oasis 4.6 cu. ft. Canyon Capacity Washer
I researched washes for 2 months trying to find the right one; small yet large enough to hold large items like blankets; decided on this size as it was in-between. I am mortified that I cannot control the water level. What moron designed this?? I can set all kinds of temps; `types of washes', mess with time but NOT WATER LEVEL. With large loads, tis is exasperating as the water does not cover the clothes. Even if I mess witht the load, or rearrange it, I might get another inch of water, then it shuts off and continues `washing'. UGH!!
Kenmore Elite Oasis Agitator 4.5 cu. ft. Capacity Top-Load Washer
I like the washer, but sometimes you just need an extra rinse...and this machine makes you do the entire cycle over just to get an extra rinse. I know you can choose the second rinse option, but that decision needs to be made before you start the cycle. For me, when I was figuring out how much soap is needed for different load cycles- my laundry came out still soapy a couple times...And I had to run the entire cycle again just to make sure it got rinsed; ridiculus! Otherwise- it is a good machine!
Kenmore Elite 70 pint Dehumidifier w/ Built-In Pump & Remote Control
We purchased this dehumidifier on 11/14/09. We decided to go with the this one for a couple of reason....the 70 pints it holds, the pump and the wireless remote monitoring. On the first night we let it run on Auto....24 hours later...no water in the bucket....the next day same thing. So I set it to manual...and it never shuts off...as for the remote...that is useless! The temp is way off and the humidity is off too even when it is running you get different reading but still way off! Automatic mode does not work at all! And our basement is damp...you can smell it. And forget about the manual...

Kenmore Elite 420 Series Water Softener
Had this in my home for a coouple of years now. It does Just OK, nothing exceptional. Needs a lot of looking after and uses a great deal of salt.
Once again I thought more of Sears brands than they must prior to putting their name on something.....
I would NOT buy another one of these, when this one gives up, it will be replaced with a "real" unit....
Kenmore Elite 30 in. Slide-In Electric Range
We bought our stove 11-1-09, the stove works well it takes some time to adjust to tapping the stove top many times to get the right temp. The first four times I cooked the food was blackened and hockey pucks. The top is very hard to clean and already looks funny, streaky which won't wipe off.
We opened a $20 box of meat last night to put in the stove, I tuned it on and it lit up went to 111 degrees and went off with an F-15 error. I called the techs they said an F-15 is a failed mother board. So on our first try, (witht the stove) which had a price tag of $1700.00, it went out. The food...

Kenmore Elite HE5t 4.0 cu. ft. IEC King Size Capacity Plus Front Load Washer
We loved this washer for 4 years....then the error codes began. Apparently the vibration during the spin cycle shakes the mechanics of the control board which eventually causes all sorts of crazy errors. We expected many more years of use before problems began. Sears customer service leaves much to be desired. Currently shopping for a new washer - definitely not Kenmore and definitely not from Sears!
Kenmore Elite HE3t 4.0 cu. ft. King Size Capacity Plus Front-Load Washer
This washer has been nothing but trouble. We had to pay several hundred dollars on repairs within the first 1.5 years (right after warranty ran out) to replace the circuit.
Now, it has a horrible smell. Google "Kenmore front load washer smell" to see all the people with similar problems. Leaving the door open, only using high quality detergent, running bleach cycles, nothing works. Sears is not helpful yet they know this is a longstanding problem with their front load washers.

Only buy this washer and dryer if you are appliance repairman and need something to constantly do. This is the worst set I have ever owned. We have had this set for 3 years and have had to replace the touch pad electronics and the electronic control board, On the dryer we replaced the drive motor, and the gas coils. Sears should be ashamed to sell these. They should both be recalled.

I purchased this machine in August of 2008. It was highly recommended by the salesperson in the store. We were desperate for a machine as my old one had quit the week before. Upon the recommendation of the salesperson, we purchased this washer. The biggest problem is that my clothes do not get clean. I hate the high efficiency performance. There is no way for a person to add enough water to get the clothes clean. I have three active kids. I try to make sure that no obvious chunks of dirt and mud go into the washer but unless I wash them before they go into the washer, the clothes...

Kenmore Elite Oasis HE 4.7 cu. ft. Capacity Top-Load Washer
I loved this washer until I started getting error codes. I bought an extended warranty. 3 boards were changed on it, shocks were changed on it, a different basket ring was replaced. It also leaked. I had rust on the bottom of the washer and between the top and the body of the washer. My floor is ruined. I need to put in a new floor. However, this washing machine was wonderful when it worked. It blew a board in a storm, and we had trouble ever since. I am getting a new washer, and I chose not to get a second one of these. I recommend this if what we got was a lemon. I hope...

Kenmore Elite 36 in. Gas Self-Clean Freestanding Range
36 inch stoves are difficult to find, I could not even see one before i bought this, but I could not be more pleased! The sales person was absolutely correct in her recommendation. Intense, serious and bold, it makes a statement and lives up to the look.
Kenmore Elite 14 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker
I purchased this coffee maker with confidence that Sears has always stood behind the products they sell and did the research to what they put the sears name on. Obviously this item was overlooked.
The lid pops open during brewing. I took the first one back after only a couple of pots and exchanged it for another. It does the esame thing.
I have lost a bit of my faith in the sears brand. I really thought at the price this would be an excellent pot -BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST.
Kenmore Elite 38 Bottle Dual Zone Wine Cellar
Purchased this item less than two years ago, evaporator blew and leaking oil. Ended up cooking my wine for a few days. Do your due diligence, repairs will cost more than item is worth. Go with someone who will stand behind their product and specialize in protecting your wine collection.
