I bought this for my daughter - she has a 4th generation iPod nano and it is not compatable with this product even though the package said it was compatable with all iPods. We could get it to play the music off the iPod, but it would not charge it and that I why I got it, so she wouldn't have to use the compuer to charge her iPod everytime. I would not recommend this to anyone with anewer version iPod. I now have to take it back and find something else. I certainly wouldn't have wasted my time and money with this product had it specified that it did not work with the new iPods.
