I have had my scooba now for about 18 months, love it, it does clean better than a mop, and a heck of a lot less work, leaves the floor damp like if you had been mopping with a wet mop but dries quickly. Once again with my pets and grandchildren I don't know what I would do with out it. I would recommend buying a second battery to use as a back up so you can get more done at a time. Additional batteries can be bought at irobot.com.
I really liked this product and it truly does get the floors super clean and beyond sparkling. No other product has worked so well. However, I do have one complaint. The scooba is not good to use in small areas such as around toliets in the restrooms and so on. The machine is rather bulky. If they were to make a smaller model, i wouldn't have to pull out the mop at all.
It's terrific. Loud, but you get used to it. Cleans better than any mop. Ours had problems; Sears "2 year warranty" means you can get 1 exchange - then it's done (no 2 years). New one is even better. Did have vac problems & iRobot is replacing it, for free (sure beats Sears!). Terrific gift.
I have two roombas; one for upstairs and one for downstairs, so I was very excited when I heard about scooba.
It worked well the first time I used it, but has never worked since. As directed I called and emailed irobot for advice. Each time it was a different problem. Each time it ran three mintues and died. After six fixes I have given up. Irobot has refused to replace it, even though they said they would without any questions. Sorry, I really wanted scooba to work
My sons and husband gave me this for Christmas (only gift I wanted). With a new baby around thishas been such a great help around the house. It is quite powerful and really does a nice job on the floors. I have recommended to a few friends.
A great machine very powerful, however my dog hates it and chewed threw the main console however my 2 year warranty cover such excesseve damage. Love Sears Love The scooba!
