Inappropriate?

Would it hurt to make working a little more exciting and fun? I've been working for Sears since late August of this year and everyone here looks so grumpy and/or mad behind closed doors. They look like they hate working here or really just don't want to work. Some act as though somebody owes them. I think if Sears made work a little more fun work would go much smoother and flow better.. It is okay for people to have fun at work and still be doing work at the same time. How about if we had contests in the store (e.g. like find this item and win a Sears card) or something along this lines?

Your store can do such things if they so choose. However, prepare for Renaissance Night on November 8th. That will hopefully perk people up. If not, the problem isn't the company, it's the people, and there's no policy or contest that will change that.

Renaissance Night? What is that? How does that work? And you're right it's most likely not the company but the workers themselves.. and that's why this economy is the way it is.. your totally right sears should be even just i little bit fun, workers would look forward to go to work.it actually reflects on sears
