Make the rebates so they are not based on original price, but at the current listed price. It does not make any sense if someone wants to save 10% through a rebate and pay more for an item. Not to mention a person can not pay the original price, nor would he/she want to! Luckily, when I called to express my concern, I was offered a $25 sears gift card for my troubles. One last thing, rebates should not be offered to select areas only, in todays economy everyone could use a break.
