Recycle Tools

Offer an assortment of reconditioned old Craftsman tools for used tool price sales, instead of routinely shipping them off to be melted in the blast furnaces.

Sharpening dull tools and reshaping screwdrivers is a pretty trivial activity, that could add revenue to the stores, allow heirloom tools to be processed and let Customers build, rather than loose, pieces to their sets of old Craftsman tools.

I'd be concerned with liability. For instance, a ratchet's quality is easy to check, but if a screwdriver blade is sharpened, who's judging whether it's too sharp? Or, if the tip is too thin to be adequately strong? Or, what if there's a hardened tip that has been damaged? If it's blades, I'd be wary of liabilities on the other end of that equation. :)

Yup. I can be a sad... sad world. Especially, when the same folks can not figure out when the tools are getting too dull to function well.
