Show item out of stock before ordering

Have a system to show items out of stock BEFORE paying for it. It takes 7-10 days for money to credit back once it is debited from account.If there is a system in place to show out of stock I think there will be alot less angry customers.

My Home Town Sears Store

Sears needs to take the lead and lower there credit card interest rates. I will not buy much at 24% interest. So I wait till they have 12 months same as cash, and if Sears dont have it then I go to lowe's or Home Depot were they have the special rates. Times are tough. People will wait for things they need if they cant get a deal on interest rated. If the rates are high I wont buy if i cant pay it of in two months. I have bought a lot of things from Sears. But it's time for you to help the people...

In Store Payments

Especially during PEAK times, to help jumpstart the streamlining of the checkout process, start with one simple, yet time consuming process, that can delay others:  Put bill payment in one or two areas only or kiosks.  I know from past experience, if going in just to pay ba bill, and you end up behind a customer doing a multitude of transactions/exchanges/purchases/credit apps, etc, I've felt like leaving and just doing snail mail.  Once, this is done, which seemingly would not be a costly thing...

we should be able to pay for our credit card bill for sears or kmart with our debit card, i dont like to carry cash around especially around the holiday season. i am able to pay my bill with my debit card in all the other stores.

Self Checkout

I think there should be a self checkout for cardholers.Place 1 additional register in each department.Also A kiosk to apply for credit card.It takes so much time from the associate trying to help a customer to get a card.This will also protect ones privacy.

But I think it would be a nice idea to have an instore kiosk that you can pay and check for credit card balance. I've seen similar things at other stores and think its very convenient and quick.

Paying your credit card in the store

It would be nice to be able to see the balance on your sears credit card after you have paid your bill in the store. Its almost a hassel to only call the sears hotline or have to log on to your online account to be able to see the updated account information.

Sears Card Special Offers

I would like to see the Sears Card more in the way of special offers and promotions.  In the auto dept. there is only 6 months differed interest...this is a great deal but I believe it would be great to have more of a variety and cycle of promotions if people put a certain amount of dollars on their Sears Card.

I think Sears should provide a $50.00 gift card or certificate a month for all card holders that makes more than 1 purchase a month.. and they are dedicated Sears card holders and customers...

Or they can just deduct $50.00 a month off your bill for being a vauled customer...

Layaway

I think that the online layaway program could have more merchandise available for layaway. And i agree with the idea that there should be extended layaway plans for the more expensive products like major appliances and electronics.

You always see 15% off appliances when you use your sears card. You never see 15% off apparel when you use your sears card. The only way to get apparel discounts is if you have the mastercard and are a member of mastercard rewards. Why get a sears card when I don't get any benefits from it? I have a regular mastercard, I don't need another one just so I can get occasional coupons for sears. & appliances are something I rarely buy, normally only if something breaks and can't be fixed. Link your Shopyourwayrewards card to your Sears Credit Card. Lots of people have too many cards to keep track of and participate in many promotional/benefit programs. This helps us to consolidate and maybe give people 1,000 shopyourwayrewards points when they make that link.

You can have a person that helps  with the credit card issues,helping with answers like how much credi you have available,amount of payment,because you only have the phone line and takes a long time to get the answers,and some times you decide not to buy.
