Larger Book Section in Kmart and Sears

I am an avid reader and as such, I look for stores book section. I would love to see a larger book section both at Kmart and Sears. Maybe even a kiach that would order books for the customers when they do not have them in stock.

It would be super convenient if you had a cafe in your stores,that would work out well when I have my car serviced or wait for my wife when she does her clothes shopping !

Lawnmowers and other items need regular maintaince.  Maybe email customers with prices for parts/items needed on a regular basis.  Ex fuel filters, etc. for lawnmowers.  It would help the consumer remember to buy items that are needed and increase your sales in parts

Dolls and Action Figures that remember simple phrases

Remember those dolls that kids would talk too and it would repeat back, or echo the phrase the child had just said. What if there was a doll or action figure that stored phrases and would give an appropriate reply to a child's question or statement, like..."Thank you"..."You're Welcome", "Hello, how are you?"..."I'm fine",etc. Anybody know if Sears or K-Mart sells these? What are they called?

Pre-Lit Tree

I at this moment in time have 5 Pre-lit trees. I am seriously allergic to real trees. But I have problems every other year from the lights and end up buying a new tree every year. What I am looking for is a really nice NOT-Pre-lit tree that is 7 feet tall or more that looks real like some of the better pre-lit. But I can not seem to find any trees that do not have lights. Please look at selling NON-Pre-lit trees. Right now I have to add lights to the parts of the tree that does not light.

As a Kmart employee in the electronics department, I often have people requesting a certain movie. They often ask if I can look up a movie on the computer to find out if we have it. Guess what I have to do? I have to either know off hand whether or not we have it, or I will physically search for a copy with the potential customer. Sometimes I will find the movie that the customer is searching for, and no matter what time is wasted. Customers would appreciate the ability for me to be able to search....

Rockwell Packages

The Rockwell JawHorse is a wonderful piece of equipment.  The accessories (Plywood jaw, Miter saw clamp, etc) are also high quality and extremely useful.  Would it be worthwhile to offer the Rockwell JawHorse in a sort of package including some of these accessories?  It seems the plywood jaw would make the most sense, considering with that accessory, you could clamp down just about anything.

Instead of trying to do adult clothing and electronics, etc. evaluate which departments are the most effective and expand them. Sears as a Children's Clothing Store would be a great store. It would definately give Children's Place and Gymboree a hard time because the prices are more family friendly. I feel the same for Home Products, especially since there are no Crate & Barrel/Pottery Barns in the neighborhood. Apple Products

I work in the electronics department for Kmart, and i really wish we had iPods, iPads, and stuff from apple. I have multi. ammount of people come in and call asking if when sold iPods and i have to say "no". Our Kmart would making gold off of this stuff. It's really sad. Please can more store carry apple products.

I've always enjoyed Craftsman Tools for their quality and value. I'd really enjoy them more if they valued their USA employees and brought production back and exclusivly to the USA. They stand for a quality and standard the is well respected among many people, but they'll loose their following if they keep shipping production overseas. If you want overseas, inexpensive priced tools, Sears and Craftsman shouldn't be your first choice for low-ball production tools. It means a lot to dedicate United...

American Made

I am looking to buy American made products. I am willing to pay a little more for these products but they are getting harder and harder to find.  Please put more American made products in your Sears and K-Mart stores.  I think you would be surprised at how many people would buy these products. Like myself there are a lot of people that would like to see America get back on track and help to take our country back.

Sears needs a fresh, innovative marketing plan.  Stores of the future are going to be more about customer service and less about a place to purchase products. Virtual stores to see and purchase with expediated shipping much like NetFlix and Blockbuster does with quick turnarounds from choosing product to delivery.
