It would be nice if areas where more clearly marked.  Our sears is like 3 floors and it's always hard to find the department your looking for.  And I can never find any way to get from one floor to another, I have to walk around looking some way to get up or down.  It would make my trips less time consuming if you had better signage...

I TOLD MY SISTER THAT FOR MY BIRTHDAY I COULD REALLY USE THE MONEY BUT SHE GOT ME A GIFT CARD INSTEAD. I BOUGHT SOMETHING WITH IT AND RETURNED IT A FEW DAYS LATER . I THOUGHT THEY WOULD JUST GIVE ME A REFUND...THEY PUT MY REFUND RIGHT BACK ON THE GIFT CARD...I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE , A REFUND OR ANOTHER GIFT CARD.....

Nobody knows how to redeem digital gift certificates

I was so happy to have a won a digital gift certificate on the Sears website, but try to use in store....nobody knew how to redeem the certificate and the check-out took forever!!!! The same happened to my friend whose was so grateful to be accepted in the Heroes at Home program, but nobody in the store knew what it was or how to redeem the digital gift certificate!!!



 

Sales racks are overstuffed!

I love to shop for a great bargain, but most of the time the sale/clearance racks are just too full! It is hard to pull out anything without having 10 other pieces of clothing drop or being all tangled up. Most of the time the racks are a complete mess and I just skip trying to dig through.

You need to upgrade the time frame for service on freezers and refrigerators that are down. Too many times I have called and the statement was that it will be five to seven days for a service tech to arrive. Well this does NOT make me a repeat customer. It is an area that needs improvement. I am willing to pay for the expedited need.

THE BANGOR IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO SHOP AT WITHOUT HITTING OTHER RACKS CLOTHES ARE ALWAYS ON THE FLOOR, I WAS IN THE KIDS DEPT., FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF, NO ONE CAME NEAR ME THE ONLY PEOPLE I SAW WAS WHEN I GOT TO THE CHECKOUT THERE WERE 2 LADIES THERE, THINK SEARS GO CHECK OUT TARGET, SUPER WALMART GET SOME IDEAS OF HOW TO SET THINGS UP.

I feel like Sears stores need secret shoppers... I am a customer service associate calling nationwide and it can be a problem even for us. If we had secret shoppers and the associates in store had more customer service training it may be better to call or shop in store.

shopping for work shoes online

I tried to use the website to purchase online work shoes. After reviewing 5 pages (24 pairs per page) I had selected 4 pairs to save for compairison. I was unable to retrieve the shoes I selected to review and when I called into the help line to find out how I could retrieve the pairs I wanted to compare, they were unable to give me directions on using their own website.

My wife and I recently looked at a new white small refrigerator at Sears in Boise at the Towne Square Mall. It is what we wanted as far at what it does. Unfortunately it doesn't come in Black. It is a small unit for beverages. It has a grill on the bottom and front. That would allow it to be built in. We needed it in Black.

whenever i go to search for a specific item that i know a lot about (color, brand name, style ect.) i have to wait for the page to reload several times when i tell the site a new peice of information like the brand name.  A lot of sites have solved this problem by allowing you to check all the boxes you want/ need to and then press refresh at the bottom.  The page then takes all the information you gave it and loads up results based on the boxes you checked giving better results and saving a ton...

Sears in Chula Vista CA is great, especially the childrens dept. Get there early,and you'll practically have the store to yourself. Park in the lot near the  childrens dept. entrance. saves time getting out in case you end up getting lost in the deals, as I usually do. Make sure to sign up for the sears essentials kids card.

I would love for the employees to have more knowledge in the merchandise that they sale in the home appliances department. And to be honest about the product and not tell us want they think we want to hear. It would make our decision way more easier....
