I am an avid reader and as such, I look for stores book section. I would love to see a larger book section both at Kmart and Sears. Maybe even a kiach that would order books for the customers when they do not have them in stock.

Sears Community Garden Tips

Idea_tail_up posted on February 07, 2012 at 05:49PM to Social Responsibility

By having garden tips and connecting to Amazon.com for great garden books, Sears can expand their community by sharing their customers garden ideas, just like Mother Earth News or Organic Gardening magazines by using the Sears Community online.  We are using a new Sears Rear Tine Tiller to put in new raised garden beds by getting the hard ground ready by tilling and leveling the area, putting in straw bales in place, and using bungee cords to keep them in place, fill with dirt, compost, and heirloom...

to be heard

WHY IS IT THAT SOME OF THE SIZES ARE DIFFERENT THEN OTHERS IN CLOTHES, SHOES, ETC. WHEN I BUY SOMETHING ON LINE AND IT IS MADE BY THE SAME MANUFACTOR AND SAME COMPANY, THEY FIT GOOD, AND YOU WANT TO STICK TO THAT LINE OF CLOTHING. BUT SOME OF THE CLOTHING YOU LIKE AND BUY, AND THEN BUY SOMETHING ELSE BY THE SAME PEOPLE, WHO MAKE THE PRODUCT. THEN IT IS TO SMALL, I DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT!!! I WISH THEY MADE THE RIGHT SIZE FOR THE PEOPLE TO BUY, INSTEAD YOU HAVE TO SEND IT BACK ONLINE, AND GET SOMETHING...

HOW TO SAVE MORE MONEY AND GET MONEY BACK!!

Idea_tail_up posted on February 04, 2012 at 01:17PM to Online Experiences
IF YOU SHOP AT SEARS, KMART, AND OTHER STORES, YOU CAN ALSO GET EXTRA MONEY OFF WHAT YOU BUY. HOW? IF YOU GO TO EBATES AND SIGN UP THERE, AND THEN TYPE THE NAME SEARS IN A BOX. IT WILL BRING UP SEARS, THEN YOU CAN SCROLL DOWN TO SEE WHAT KIND OF PRODUCT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, IF IT IS LAWN AND GARDEN, CLOTHES, AND ETC. IT WILL SAY YOU CAN SAVE 3% OR MORE. THEN YOU CLICK ON TO THAT, AND SAVE ADDITIONAL MONEY ON SEARS PRODUCT. BUT NOT ONLY THAT, YOU WILL RECIEVE POINT AT EBATES. AND IN 3 MONTHS EBATES...

Better Product Labelling

Idea_tail_up posted on February 04, 2012 at 08:58AM to Store Experiences

When I purchase merchandise, especially shoes and especially when I am actually in a Sears store, I always investigate the materials used to make the product.  As a vegan, it is important that I am able to identify items that are made with no animal products.  It is often difficult, or impossible, to make this determination in the store.  And since shopping in the store has benefits, such as being able to actually try on shoes and clothes to ensure a proper fit, I would appreciate it if you made...

maintaince

Idea_tail_up posted on February 02, 2012 at 08:49PM to Suggestions for New Products

Lawnmowers and other items need regular maintaince.  Maybe email customers with prices for parts/items needed on a regular basis.  Ex fuel filters, etc. for lawnmowers.  It would help the consumer remember to buy items that are needed and increase your sales in parts

sales asso. check list on appliance sales

Idea_tail_up posted on January 31, 2012 at 08:37AM to General Customer Service

as a service tech for a gas company ive seen several times when doing a gas conversion on products sold by mass marketers that the sales asso. didnt ask the buyer if they needed a gas conversion kit or a shut off vale or other parts if your sales asso. had a check list or parts or extras that could be sold with specific appliances it might mean more sales and it certainly would mean less agrivation for the buyer or a service tech having to drive back to store to purchase parts that could have been...

Damaged goods

Idea_tail_up posted on January 29, 2012 at 06:18PM to In-Home Service & Repair
There should be a better way to get satisfaction when you have a problem, a service tech was at my house for a fridge I bought that was damaged, he was on the phone with Sears at my house for 45 minutes, he got no where, he left, I still have a damaged fridge.

you should have free shipping

Idea_tail_up posted on January 29, 2012 at 02:47PM to Pricing & Policies

you should offer free shipping on merchandise for people who spend $50.00 or more. your shipping on merchandise is pretty ridiculous.Walmart offers .96 cents on shipping for mostly everything. I don't think I would order online from you guys anymore because I paid out like $20 for shipping on 3 items. i will still shop in store but that will probably be it unless your shipping becomes cheaper. well thank you for your time.

Sears and KMart...a little confusing at times

Idea_tail_up posted on January 28, 2012 at 07:07PM to Pricing & Policies

I don't know about anyone else, but I am not sure exactly how points are earned with the Rewards card.  Do you accumulate points at both places? Also, cross marketing is very confusing.  Either they are associated and you can use same card and rewards card, or you can't...which is it?
