eliminate this white space under the items.

Ive noticed a few things with searching on sears.com that are inconsistent. First, when I run a search, the results are in tall rectangle boxes. I've attached an image here for helpfulness. For starters I entered "Call of Duty" in the search box incase you wanted to see this yourself.

1. I dont like dragging my mouse over the objects and have that annoying blue slide up 'quick view' button show up. If we want to see a detailed view, just use a old fashioned magnifiying glass lens icon in the lower corner of the item description/image. The blue part could actually be removed and made transparent, in which case I would be fine with the quick view button. The combination of the two makes it annoying.

2. Also this leaves a quarter of the box for white dead space. Now I have not done much searching to see how it could be used for other purposes.

from these minor observations I see a way to reduce the screens dead space and make it a faster experience. I have plenty of other ideas but so far my messages to the web people have not elicted a response. Is this the best way to get my web improvement ideas out there?

Yeah I have written a few times to the site staff already, but thought I'd throw some ideas out here too.
