This washer has given me nothing but headaches since the day I bought it. It has broken down 2 times since I bought it 5 months ago. I hope before you buy anything from Sears, that you read reviews--stay away from the Oasis line of washers and dryers, do your research and try not to buy from Sears, because the quality they once in their appliances and repair service is gone.
I won't bore you with my time line of machine breakdowns and repairman who don't come when they say they will. And this from an Oasis Machine one month off warranty, and 13 months old.
Want another opinion? Call appliance repair people and ask what they are working on, and what they recommend. I wish I had before I bought from Sears.
I haven't had any major difficulties with my Kenmore Oasis HE Canyon Capacity washing machine. I would definitely purchase the service plan as it saved me hundreds of dollars when my machine started making a noise. Once fixed I have had no problems at all. Wished I had purchased the model with the see-through window on top. The features of this product are really great, I would purchase this model again!
I love my Kenmore front loader. I can fit so much in it in one load that I've worn out two (older) dryers (haven't been able to get the matching dryer yet! :( I can't wait to get it) by putting such large loads in them. And my clothes come out so clean and bright with a fraction of the detergent I used to use. My water bill is lower, my detergent/bleach/softner costs are lower and my clothes wear out more slowly. My husband used to wear holes in his socks so fast, but now they last almost twice as long. I think it's because of the way the washer uses less bleach and less water - but...
