Kmart.com —
I made a purchase on kmart.com and was a larger item and required shipping in a form other than USPS, UPS, or FedX. Unfortunately the entire ordeal was a nightmare. We had to pay $90 for shipping the oversized item, ok fine understandable. What was not understandable was the fact it took 2 weeks to receive and almost daily phone calls from us to receive the item. Then once the delivery truck came into our town, the driver wanted to have us pick up the item at an alternate location or leave it at the alternate location (which happened to be a side road near a garbage disposal location). Negotiation was necessary to have the item delivered. Despite all of our trouble, and even speaking with a supervisor we did not receive an apologies from K-Mart only a credit for $7 because of the delay in shipping. What a nightmare - we will NEVER use Kmart.com for our oversized purchases again. I can honestly say this was something I never expected from KMart.Last edited on May 13, 2009
