nextec multi tool —
November 1-28 Craftsman Club "Members Save 20% on Multi-Tool Accessories when purchased with the Nextec Multi-tool. I bought the tool for $99.00 and purchased an extra Carbide Circular Blade and an extra Flush Cut Saw Blade. The register gave me the discount on the first blade but refused to give me a discount on the second blade. The sales person tried to scan an override sheet but he couldn't get the second discount to take. Finally he said the add in Crafsman Club must mean 20% discount on any one accessory. I asserted that I could read and the add and the register were not in synch. He said there was nothing he could do about the register but stated the copy in Craftsman Club was vague and misleading. If there is anybody listening out there let me know do I expect too much or is Sears up to their old tricks again. I left with the two blades and the saw. It only cost me a few extra bucks and some aggravation.
On a happier note, the saw should be pretty good, it got a good review in a magazine I was reading and it takes the Fein blades.
