BobL27 says "Absolutely Beautiful Double oven Range " about Kenmore Elite 30&#34 Freestanding Electric Range

This Range has all the bells and whistles you can ask for. The double oven setup is extremely handy. Sears replaced my previous oven purchase I made in 2009 with this one, and I am very happy with it. It was delivered to me as a no charge replacement because the previous range had a problem that Sears said was more trouble to fix than it was worth (my words, not Sears, but it was implied).

This range like many other new ones, has hidden bake elements, which increases the preheat time to be much longer than you might be used to; it might be (seems like) double time. You get used to it unless you are in a big hurry to get something started to bake. Also this new range has some upgrades to the previous one it replaced, such as a 3 element large top burner at the front right instead of the only two burnere. The 3rd, (small inside burner ring) is small enough to be used to heat up a teapot without much uncovered burner area, the reason I was never able to use a teapot on the previous model.......

BobL27 says "This Vacuum is powerful and quieter than What I am used to!" about Kenmore Intuition 31811 Upright bagless silver

Sears sent me this vacuum for free to use it and write a review on it. Sears knows that my reviews are honest and if I don't like something, I will let it be known in my review.

My wife and I always have used cannister vacuums in the past, and they all had bags to throw away.

This vacuum is an upright bagless model, which I used for the first time this morning on Thanksgiving Day. My wife asked me to help clean up the house for her, and being that UPS delivered the new vacuum to us last night, I thought it would be a great opportunity to put it through its paces. I must say that this vacuum is really powerful and pulled lots of stuff out of our rugs and area carpets. Actually, I was really impressed with how much it pulled out. If anybody was watching, I may have been embarassed how much was in there. Our cannister vacuum would never pull that stuff out. I was also impressed by how much quieter this upright model is than our (old) Kenmore cannister vacuum cleaner. This upright is a bit...
...

BobL27 says "Beautiful, Full Featured Fridge" about Kenmore Elite 26.5 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator (5109)

My wife and I are very pleased with this Fridge. It is beautiful, has loads of interior space in both the freezer and fridge compartments. It has hi tech controls with a color touch screen on the front panel, which shows you the current time and date on the screen.

The ice/water dispenser on the freezer door is the type where you need to select if you want ice or water before you press the dispense pad with your glass or cup. Actually you need to look at the screen first to see which choice was set up from last usage. The complaint that the drawers don't open very far is one that I have seen on many new fridges. the drawers don't seem strong enough to be able to extend out to far and might break if they were loaded with food. Seems the manufacturers decide to just limit the opening to limit the chance of breaking. They do open enough, though to be able to get to items inside without problems in my opinion.

The power cord comes out at the top of the fridge which, if your cabinet above is...
...

I've installed and run every version of Windows (well almost) since Windows 3.0 came out except NT and server versions.

I bought the Windows 7 Home premium upgrade 3PC family package, and I am very pleased with it. I was formerly running windows XP Pro on my PC's, which I was also VERY pleased with. My PC's are pretty new, and met the requirements for Win 7.

If you are wondering if your PC will run on Win 7, you can download the win 7 Upgrade advisor from Microsofts web site and run it on your PC. this will tell you if the hardware on your PC is compatable and what softwaer you have may present any problems. I have been using Win 7 since it first came out Oct 22, and have no regrets buying and upgrading to it. The Family pack 3 PC version is a very good buy.
...

I recently wrote a review on the Keurig B60 single cup coffee brewer, and gave it an outstanding rating. I just bought somebody this B70 model as a gift, and it is even better! It holds 60 oz of water in the holding tank, where the B60 holds only 48 ounces. It also has some additional menu features over the B60. I may give my B60 away and buy a B70 for myself. The B70 looks somewhat more stylish as well. These Keurig brewers make you a cup of excellent coffee with no fuss or cleanup afterwards. there are so many varieties of coffee packaged in the K-cups that work in this line of brewers, it is amazing (about 200, including teas and cocoas, etc)
...

This re-usable coffee filter works fine, and yes, it CAN save you a ton of money over buying the pre-filled K-Cups, but using it defeats the whole purpose of buying the Keurig system in the first place, in my opinion! I bought the Keurig brewer because it is SO convenient to use, and there is nothing to clean up. Using this filter makes you clean it out and refill it with ground coffee for each cup. If you want to put ground coffee into a filter, just buy a regular coffee brewer that makes several cups into a carafe. Those brewers are much cheaper as well.

Buying and using this filter thingy reminds me of having a great hammer, but using it to bang in nails by holding it against a nail and hitting the hammer with a rock
...

I bought one of these same ladders in 1995 at a Home Improvement Show. It is super sturdy, and is actually a ladder system that configures into several types, like an A frame, Extension Ladder, or even 2 A frame ladders. It can be set up on stairs. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this, but I will tell you, it is quite heavy; I think it weighs about 45 pounds. Yo can see it in action on a demo video at the manufacturer's web site Little Giant. The demonstrator makes it look easy, and he must be super strong. Back in 1995, I was stronger than I am now at 67 years old, and its weight never concerned me. As heavy as it is, I still love this ladder and prefer using it over anything else I or anybody else have. It is super sturdy (oh, I said that before, but it really is!)...

A great addition to your collection of C3 tools! gives off good light where you are working, but does not project its light for much distance. I guess if there was a reflector to guide the light in one direction, it would be able to light up a greater distance, but that reflector would also kill the almost omni-dierectional lighting this lamp gives off, and I think it is fine as it is. I can;t wait till I have a chance ot use it

What can I say- this tool has the very common small sizes and looks like it is decent in quality. Just grab it and use it for speedy access. I have not used mine yet. My wife bought it for me for a holiday gift, and I really like it. I am sure it is not as strong as any one wrench it replaces size for size, but it is very convenient to have one tool that covers eight sizes. And, it is available in US and metric types. My wife bought me the US size, and I may buy myself the Metric sized tool. For the price, I would say it is an excellent value.
...

This little camera is one in a series of very nice Microsoft "WebCams" It has a pretty decent picture, and has a built in microphone. The camera plugs into the PC's USB port. The camera comes with a software package that allows you to add visual effects like adding hats, eyeglasses, facial hair, face distortions, etc. Sometimes the picture of me you see here has these effects added to what I normally look like. Maybe these are enhancements? For less than 30 bucks, I think you can't go wrong buying one of these. This is the cheapest of the line, but it is a good deal.
...

The Keurig Single Brew coffee brewer is best described in one word: Fantastic! It makes a perfectly brewed cup of delicious coffee in just one minute (assuming the internal tank heater is always turned on). My wife and I enjoy a good cup of coffee, and this is about the quickest way to get good coffee. It is very neat to use, and whatever little cleanup is needed, is just about negligible. It comes with a nice assortment of different Keureg "K Cups", which are about the size of a coffee creamer container you get at a fast food place. You dont even have to open the K Cup; just insert it in the machine, press the Brew button, and when it is done in 1 minute, you just remove and toss away the used K cup. My wife and I really love this machine.
...

BobL27 says "Makes Front Loaders easier to Use" about LG 13.7 in. Laundry Pedestal with Drawer

My wife and I bought the LG 3001 series washer and dryer (each reviewed separately here) a couple of weeks ago. The pedestals were not delivered with the machines because of a color mix up, so I set them up at first without the pedestals.

The machines being front loaders, make you bend over quite a bit to load and unload clothing from both the washer and dryer. I got the pedestals delivered and set up yesterday, and let me tell you: What a difference! The pedestals bring the Washer and dryer up to comfortable heights, especially the doors of these appliances. I rated the pedestal in reference to the convenience and comfort they give, plus the fact that they seem substantially constructed. They are very expensive, though, at $225 dollars or more. In my opinion they are worth it, however.

Also, each pedestal has a large drawer that holds lots of laundry stuff: detergent, bleach, softener sheets, etc. The inside height of each drawer is a little shy of allowing some items to stand upright,...
...

My Wife and I bought this dryer and the matching 3001 Front loading washer. They are both quite expensive, but we liked the features they both have, the looks, and they had good reviews from CR magazine's staff and the user reviews on their web site.

Every single brand and model we researched had at least some bad reviews from users that purchased washers and dryers. This 3001 series of washer and dryer had mostly very positive user reviews. We saw these machine in the store and were impressed by their looks, and the many features they have. I wrote a seperate review on the washer.

This dryer does a great job of drying clothes, as I guess most dryers do. This one has moisture sensors that can detect the level of moisture remaining in the clothing and adjusting the time cycle to save energy. I am a gadget freak, and I am very impressed by the controls on this dryer and the very friendly display panel, something industrial machines have called the HMI, which means Human- Machine - Interface....
...

We got ours delivered Monday September 14th, and have done only a few loads of laundry so far, maybe 6 or so, but they have been different types of loads and care needs. So far, everything came out very clean, and undamaged. The machine is very quiet. We bought the matching dryer as well, and I am writing a seperate review on that. This washer has so many options and features. I guess most of them will remain unused by most people, maybe even my wife and I, but we like having them available. This model has a very nice, large, easy to read LCD panel which really makes it easy to see what you are doing and even has comments on what you may have selected. Most normal washes can be done with just selecting one of the main seletions of the rotary selector switch, which has delfault settings to get that mode done. If you want to tweak something or add other options you can.

I bought the Fein Multimaster Top Kit. the Infomercial makes this tool look like it can do anything. You know what? IT CAN!

I have read negative reviews from some contractors about the cost of replacement blades for this tool, and they are correct in saying that they are expensive. If you use this tool everyday for business, making money, then its just part of the expense of running a business.

I am not a contractor. I have found out many times in life that if you buy a tool that makes a job easy to do, then it is worth buying.
