Well I stopped by Sears last week (like every week) and decided that one more shape wear item is never a mistake for a purchase.

I headed to the Intimates Department and checked out the items on sale by Dr. Rey ... and this Dr. Rey Hi-Waist Shapewear Brief just jumped off the rack and into my basket ... and can you imagine it was the purrrfect size ... and 20% off!

Now we girlz all know that the office party is an opportunity to have a little fun dressing up, and as I had recently purchased this great Lil black dress with shimmering sequin trim and sling backs to match i wanted to make sure my waist looked under control ... but ooh I was a little wanting in the control department Wednesday night for the party ...

Dr. Rey to the rescue! This high waisted shapewear brief allowed me to slip into the Lil black number with its thin shoulder straps and look wonderful ... and thanks to some reinforcement from the holiday cheer at the arty, I received quite a bit of complimentary attention ......

Well girlfriends ... you want to feel soft and cuddly in the middle of the day, especially maybe after the boss got grumpy and suggested you need to work harder???

If so this sweet Sears Butter Fleece Full Front Zip Jacket is just the thing to squeeze yourself with when you leave the office for that cup of coffee and respite from the 'heat' of the moment and the bite of the tongue.

It is not only soft but warm ... and it can be thrown on as the last minute outer wear needed when you can't make up your mind what is right for the day.

Add a little more color with matching mittens and hat ... maybe with a little pattern ... and you are ready for Starbucks!

I must say this has been a very successful week at Sears ... not to mention fun!

As I indicated in a few earlier reviews I have been on a bit of an 'essential' shopping spree for my winter workday wardrobe ... and so what if a few evening wear items slip into my shopping basket (well that is for another round of reviews)!

Well this Covington for Sears Sport Fashion Blazer was an easy pick for the everyday dress needs of a woman who works in the office part of the week and at the library the rest of the week.

It is cut well, with lines that flatter. It also has a finish that feels soft but sturdy, so you can certainly be confident of that femme appeal but firm in your mission.

I am looking forward to a very successful winter work season, with the goal of convincing my boss that he needs to promote me ... or at least give me a raise ... and this little jacket helps me feel confident about presenting my best business like appearance ....

Well ladies when you get up late and have only a few minutes to pick out what to wear to work you can't go wrong with a basic lil ole skirt, blouse and jacket ... right?

Well the Apostophe Essential Jacket is the jacket for just that emergency.

I found this at Sears (as usual), and while I have a few older versions of the same type of top, I just could not avoid adding this to my shopping cart last night.

It has great lines that clasically provide you with the appearance of the confident 'gal friiday' ... or more accurately ... one who can take charge.

So if you need some cover for being a little late for work .. just don this jacket and stride confidently into the office, past the boss and maybe toss a line like: 'I just ran into a few friends!'

This Lee Fleece Coat is a great addition to any everyday wardrobe. It is soft, very warm and has a great little hood.

The belted look is great and just gives a girl that kind of snug little hug one needs when it is cold outside.

The double breasted button front is also a pus in providing a trim appearance.

I have been adding a number of new basic things to my winter work closet over this past week and am very pleased with this item. All it needs now is a contrasting hat, scarf and gloves ... mmm

Well today i am going to review several jackets I purchased last night or am planning on picking up today ... as I can use a little cash from my paycheck to offset the use of my credit cards this week!

The Apostophe Boyfriend Jacket is cut in such a way it provides any girl definition for a smaller appearing waist ... something we all work on or at least long for...and of course the belt helps.

It as great lapels! And it kind of just moves gently in an alluring manner with every move you make.

I picked out the Midnight Blue and am looking forward to wearing it with one of my new black skirts.

Well I am off to Sears later for more fun ... and am always looking for more sale items ...

I spent the earlier part of this week at Sears each night after work determined to add to my work wardrobe.

Skirts are always a great addition and I have to say that I am particularly addicted to Sears skirt sales.

The Sharagano Studio Pocket Skirt is soooo cute ... with its sweet angles at the top over the hips and to the waist ... and its pretty pockets!

I was so inspired after trying on the black skirt that I decided to purchase another in the granite color.

I would encourage anyone wanting to have that young but mature look at the office to check out the Sharagano Studio Pocket Skirt.

So I decided that each day I would check out the sales at my favorite stores (Sears heads the list) and buy at least one new item each work day ... there has to be some good reason to be working!

So after I purchased a great little mini skirt at Sears I headed home, but made the mistake of passing Kmart .... but I did not PASS Kmart, I ended up rationalizing I needed some panty hose and panties. And while I was there ...

Well while I was there this Jaclyn Smith Women's Twill Pencil Skirt just jumped out at me ... it is very cheerful looking and fits great!

The material is divine for those of us who like twilly things.

I am so happy that when I shop at Kmart it is like visiting a sister of Sears.

Well, I just could not get out of Sears without buying another skirt.

The Attention Women's Sateen Drape Front Mini Skirt, while I am sure would be appreciated at work and particularly well received at the libraries I frequent for research, seems to be a garment especially made to wear for drinks and chat at an early evening gathering of colleagues.

I found an off white top that blends well with this skirt and have accented both with modest pearl earrings, and matching bracelet and necklace, beige hose and violet pumps.

Well this is another of the skirts I have added to my workday wardrobe. It is particularly fun to wear and looks great on.

I do a lot of research amongst old books at several history libraries, and find that it is always better to look professional and confident when working around the scholarly types.

This Button Back pleated Skirt by Luxe, (NYC Design) will be an attention grabber in a very tasteful way. It looks so cute with the buttons on the back and I can't to wear it to work later this week.

Ok Girlz, I have gone over the top starting last evening, well actually the evening before. Decided that the holiday sale season being upon us required my and my wallet's (more precisely my credit cards') full attention.

And I can help our President stimulate the economy!

Cannot be more patriotic than that.

So Monday evening I latched onto this lil ole number and decided that this skirt was to be my first addition to my work wardrobe.

It fits wonderfully, has great lines, is pleasant to the touch and looks sexy when worn with a classic white blouse ... kind of that office type of sexy ... not too alluring but just enough to turn a head or two.

Thanks again Sears ... and I will be reviewing a few more skirts I piked out at Sears and a couple at Kmart the past three days.

Well ladies these little Strappy Belicia Caparro heels are divine ... in appearance and about as comfortable a dressy shoe you will wear to that 'special' evening event!

I was fortunate to find them when they were on sale and saved about 25% ...

But now wish I had purchased pairs in the other two colors ... you know sometimes you have to work the outfit around the shoes, and these shoes are definitely worth working the dress and all the accessories to fit the look they inspire ...classy & chic !!!

However I spent soo much money that Friday & Saturday when I bought some great undie things, and another pair of shoes and accessories that I should not complain ...

Sears came through again! And I got to be one of the 'Belles of the Ball.'

Well I was all nervous about what to wear to the party I am about to set out for tonight, but had the sense to check out Sears this afternoon. Was just there last night and helped close the store, but had run out of time to check out some party dresses, or more specifically, evening or cocktail dresses! Almost didn't have time today but at the last momnet I turned into the Mall and began a frenzied search for the purrrfect LBD (Little Black Dress) ... and I found it. I believe it is a G3 Bubble Dress that I found a pic of on-line, however I think it is discontinued or out of stock, as it was on a clearence rack ... something I could only have dreamed for as I spent a whole lot of money at Sears last night and was really limited for finances today. But true to form Sears came to the rescue, and I will fill you in on a divine pair of dressy black sling backs I found along with a 'clearance' clutch for tonight ... am off to the party and full of confidence thanks to my friendly Sears!!!!!!......

Well ladies (and any gents who dare feel pretty),

I recently purchased two of these wonderful garments and have to say that they made my tummie flat, disappear under sleek dresses, or blouse and skirt and are comfortable!

I highly recommend this item to anyone looking to appear a little more in shape or shapely than they may actually be.

And the price, well I got mine on sale, is worth cutting into your budget for.

Thanks Sears for carrying this line and so many others that many department stores have neglected to supply.

These panties are fast becoming one of my everyday items for wear around the house. I have never been a great fan of nylon panties, however something about Vanity Fair Tailored Nylon Full Briefs just evokes a certain confidence.

Full briefs have the advantage of making one feel secure and yet the nylon material kind of gives me a feeling of being a bit daring as the day moves along at home.

I recommend these very much although I tend to wear other panties that are a bit more alluring when I go to work or am having a night on the town.

I have read several of our colleagues' reviews of Hanes Ultra Sheer Control Top Plus Pantyhose and I realize that some of you gals (and guys who feel un-threatened wearing these lovely concoctions named pantyhose) are not satisfied that the sheerness of these stockings are not 'iron-clad.'

Well sweeties, life can be difficult at times ... one should consider wearing sheer hose for those special occasions when one acts a bit more reserved and less apt to be playing touch football or fleeing from unwanted and aggressive advances...

I find these pantyhose to be sexy to wear ... the silky smooth sensation to my legs helps my confidence when 'stepping out' for the evening.

They look great with heels ... and add a tint of black or brown and ohhhh they make your legs look so much slimmer.

I intend to always have about ten pair in my stocking drawer and at least one extra pair in my purse when I am out for the evening.

Remember girls to take that extra moment to slow down and enjoy how...

Just loved trying this on and finding the matching jacket...looks great with sheer jet black hose and 3" pointy sling back heels.

This skirt fits like a glove and is just short enough to even turn the heads of the most 'indiffferent' men.

The price is more than worth the attention that is pulled towards you as if it were magnetic...and it makes your leggs look slim and long...

As with most Diet Trim undies, this little number helps adjust the tummy in a more attractive alignment for the fashion conscious gurls.

I was pretty much pleased with the panty, as it is comfortable and provides a bit of control...not in the same way as their high waisted brief, but helpful nonetheless.

And the panty banding stayed in place all day...I would recommend it to any gurl that is looking for an affordable and comfortable panty to get through the workday...would be great if it was available in some other colors though...

Just bought a box of three pair...off black queen size...these pantyhose are delightfully comfortable, 'attention' adverises them as having a 'soft nylon leg' with a 'comfort stretch panty' and a 'non binding waistband' ... nothing but the truth gurls ( and guys into wearing panty hose).

I encourage anyone to try a box of these very soon...the price is extaordinary also ,,, the box of three pair was $3.99 at KMart.

Attention Women's Microfiber Tights exceeded my expectations as to comfort, care and durability.

I have also purchased other tights (shaping, etc. manufactured by Attention and they too are incredibly satisfying...but the micrfiber is tops with me.

When I need everyday wearability these tights rock.

...I have not noticed them at Sears but happilly can always find them at KMart...get together with your sister store Sears and start loading your shelves with this product!
