I've always liked timberland shoes for their look and comfort and I recently started using steel toe shoes for my carpentry work for safety reasons. I like these particular shoes for their toughness as well as their comfort. I go through boots about one pair every other year because I really beat them to the ground. So far these boots are holding up to paint splatter, mud, water, sawdust, and an ocassional scratch from my dogs. Still, what kills my boots is usually all the bending and stomping that goes with my type of work and the seams are still intact. I just hope these boots stay in shape because I also picked them for their cool hiking look. St. Louis Handyman.
...
