We thought we'd save a little money by purchasing a less expensive mattress set for our spare room. However, we've since learned it is so uncomfortable that no one wants to sleep on it.

I came across the Royal Velvet Big and Soft mattress cover and thought, "why not? It can't hurt to try it."

I decided before putting any guest in that room again I'd sleep in there to test it out. Wow!! That is now the coziest bed in the house. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a second one for the master bedroom.

Definitely worth the money.

I've always wanted this blender, but could never justify spending the money (approx $100 depending on where you shop). After our extremely hot summer and my old blender dying, I decided to go ahead and buy the Cuisinart Blender. I am so happy that I did. I couldn't believe what a difference there was between the Cuisinart blender and my old no-name blender. It crushes ice like as if it were marshmallows and makes smoothies in a matter of seconds. With my old blender I could only put a small amount of ice in at a time and I had to pre-chop most fruits before putting in if I wanted a smoothing. With the Cuisinart blender I put in enough ice for an entire picture of margaritas and enough fruit (quartered not chopped) for the entire family to have a smoothie in the mornings. The new blender helps me save time and energy. I am so glad we decided to spend the extra money. I HIGHLY recommend the Cuisinart Power Blend 700 Blender.

I can't tell you the exact model we have, but I can tell you that it's been around forever. When we bought our home in 2002, my dad gave us this mower, it originally belonged to him and he'd owned it for 15 years - we've now owned it for 8 more and she still runs like a champ. The quality behind a Craftsman mower, tool, etc... it amazing. Once a year we take the mower in for a tune-up and that's all the more we've ever had to do. If you take care of a Craftsman, it'll take care of you.

The sales person at the store where we purchased our carpet told us it wasn't good to use Bissell and other such carpet cleaner because the didn't remove all the water and eventually would leave a mildew smell in our home. He recommended ChemDry.

Since he is the "professional," we took his advice and hired ChemDry to clean our carpets. What a scam and waste of money.

Three days after our carpets had been cleaned they were still wet.
The ad and sales rep quoted us a "special" of $149 for three rooms any size. They charged us $315 - after explaining only certain types of carpet could get that special.
Six weeks after our carpets had finally dried, all the old stains resurfaced and our carpet looked worse than it did to begin with.

Since then we rented a steam cleaner at our local grocery store (for $40) and cleaned the carpets ourselves. The carpets were dry in a few hours and 90 days later they still look great.

This was one of the best movies I've seen in a really long time. There's a really good plot to follow, romance, comedy, reality, and a warm heartfelt message. The movie is packed with amazing cinematography of Seattle and the cast is wonderful. I rate it a MUST see.

Jennifer Aniston and Erik Eckhart have great chemistry. Both their characters are believable, people you would actually know and love. Truly a touching story.

We recently recarpeted our home with an off-white burber carpet. I know, you don't have to say it, "what were we thinking?"

Over the Thanksgiving holiday we had a small mishap with a bottle of red wine. While pouring wine for our guests, my husband accidently dropped the bottle, it in turn caused a domino affect and knocked over 3 glasses of wine and a bowl of dip. What a mess. I was devistated. I thought for sure I would have red wine stains in my dinning room forever. We soaked up what we could and in the morning I headed out to purchase a carpet cleaner.... I wasn't looking for a spray, I had planned to spend hundreds of dollars on an upright machine. However, in my search I met the sweetest sales clerk ever and she told me all about the Bissell OxyPro. At $6.99 a can it was worth a try; besides, it wasn't like the stains were going to get worse, what did I have to lose?

WOW!! I couldn't believe it. I followed the instructions exactly (spray, rub, dry, vacuum). The cleaner dried and...

We purchased our Wii about 8 months ago and I have to say it was the best investment we've made in a long long time. Our kids love it and so do we. It is a great way to spend family time together. My kids no longer mope around saying, "I'm bored." They always have something to do on Wii and they love it. We live in the Seattle area and our winters are pretty dreary and wet, this is a great way to get my kids, my husband, and myself to stay active during the winter months. I also love the laughter that now fills my family room.

My niece was recently diagnosed with leukemia, with this illness a person's immune system becomes very weak and it isn't safe for them to be out door and around a lot of people. Her doctor actually recommended she get a Wii so that she could keep active and prevent her bones and muscles from becoming weak and frail. We all pitched in and got her one. Not only did it help her to stay active as the doctors suggested, it also helped the whole family bond.

The Odwalla Sweet & Salty Almond bar is very flavorful it doesn't have the cardboard taste of many granola bars. It is sweet and chewy with just a touch of salt. It can handle any craving. I add a 100 calorie yogurt to it and I've got the perfect snack for any time of day....

Hillary Swank and Garrad Butler have so much chemistry. The is a true love story. Jerry discovers he is dying of cancer so he writes 12 letters to his wife, one to be delivered every month for the first year after his death. I love the way he, even from the grave, helps his wife cope with his death. It is truly an amazing movie. I recommend it to everyone, but make sure you have the Kleenex handy....

I have been using Noxema since I was 12 years old - 30 years - and I can't imagine using anything else. I have tried several other products and I haven't found anything that leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and acne free. I am 42 and most people guess me to be in my early 30's. This is a great starter camera or for teens. It doesn't have a lot of bings and buzzers, but it does take a great picture. You can also take mini videos with it. My main complaint is that it takes too long for it to actually take the photo. So if you are trying to capture something quick - like a pet or child - by the time it actually takes the photo your subject has moved. I have gotten some great landscapes, sunsets, and architectural photos. The color is very vivid....
