Bought two of these machines last year one as a gift one for myself. Could not clear 4 inches of snow, always jammed th shute the belt would slip & the auger would stall keep in mind 4" of snow. The other machine does the same thing of course we bought these early in the season so we were past our 30 days to return it. Had the machine checked out Sears said it was in normal operating condition. Talk to a sales rep who was actually honest & said they have had alot of complaints about this model same as i have reported. Bought all sorts of nostick spray & used alot of WD-40 to keep the chute lubricated more of a hassle then what it was worth since the auger still stalled.

I have always owned toro products and never had an issue i ended using my 15-20 yr old 2 cycle s-200 which is probably a 1.5hp motor to get me through the season since this machine was worthless. Needless to say i sold mine for less that half of what i paid for it and ended up buying a new Toro Lesson Learned! Unfortunatly...
...
