http://www.mysears.com/aboutme/Madmomof3 Mon, 02 Nov 2009 01:31:37 GMT Reviews by Madmomof3 http://www.mysears.com/Kenmore-Elite-Oasis-HE-4-7-cu-ft-Top-Load-Washing-Machine-2806-review-cf163 <p>We purchased the Oasis washer and dryer just over 3 years ago.  We (unfortunately...maybe) did not purchase the extended warranty.  About 6 months ago, the machine got really loud when it was spinning the clothes, regardless of what cycle.  Not long after, the control panel started beeping and the cycle alarm was acting like it had a short or something.  We had a repair man come out and tell us that the control panel needed replacing, as well as the entire inside since a bearing had gone out.  Thankfully, he was honest enough to tell us that we might as well get a new machine.  When we went back to Sears to see about a new one, we were told that there was a recall on the machine - of which we were never notified - and yes, it's had lots of problems.  So....never mind, we went to a different retailer and bought a GE.  So far so good!</p>...
