Nascent666 says "Annoying aspect of these tools..." about Craftsman 3 pc. Magnesium Pneumatic Tool Kit

I didn't buy this set, but I borrowed it from my brother to install shoe molding. I read the instructions...what guy does that, right?...because I didn't want to break it. I bought the correct nails and set the PSI on my air compressor to what was recommended.

The first few nails went way too deep. Beginner's error. I had to keep adjusting the air compressor (a Craftsman) until I got the right depth. The major annoyance I had with the gun that I used was that every other time I pulled the trigger, the sleeve holding the nails would pop out. Even after I adjusted the pressure. Sometimes the nails would fly all over the room...pretty dangerous.

The other annoying thing was that little red plastic piece that appears to be there so you won't dent your wood...that's a joke. No matter what pressure I used, I got a mark. I guess that's why Sears also sells wood filler.

On the positive, it was easy to handle with little kickback.
...

Nascent666 says "Returned..." about Craftsman Lawn Mower

I went into the Sear Hardware looking at lawn mowers. I bought their middle-of-the-road Craftsman. I returned it a week later and this is why...

I don't know how this thing got passed quality control, but the handle wasn't even painted fully. About a fourth of it was missing paint!

The wheels wobbled. It looked like they would fly off any minute.

The height adjustment on the front left wheel kept disengaging. At first, when the mower veered to the left, I thought I was doing something wrong. Then I realized what happened after the second time. Not too happy about it.

I don't think other people were too happy with the quality of this product either since there approximately eight other discounted returns on the showroom floor for resale.
...

I went into the Sear Hardware looking at lawn mowers. I bought their middle-of-the-road one.

Initially, the Sears store tried to sell me a warranty at the store. I figured I didn't need it since my old Craftsman had to be near 15 years old. My Dad has one, my brother has one, I have one...all lasting years. Never would I think to get the warranty, so I declined. The store person looked at me kinda funny, but I ignored it.

After I returned it a week later, I was asked if I wanted another one. I looked,...
...
