NickTheTrainer says "Dana White is my hero" about The Ultimate Fighter

I'll post the UFC.com review of episode 5 then I'll comment with my thoughts of the episode.
As this week's show commences, it picks up in the Octagon, where Team Nogueira's Efrain Escudero has won the first lightweight bout of the tournament by submitting Team Mir's Shane Nelson. Incensed by his teammate's loss, Browning jumps the Octagon fence and tries to get at Escudero. Immediately, interim UFC heavyweight champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira intercepts Browning and holds him back. When the dust settles, Nogueira says of Browning, "He's scared, and he's gonna be the next to tap."

UFC President Dana White isn't pleased by this latest outburst from Browning, and luckily for the Team Mir lightweight, Nevada State Athletic Commissioner Keith Kizer wasn't in the gym that day, saving Browning from a possible suspension.

Junie apologizes to his coach, Frank Mir, but the former heavyweight champ seems skeptical.

"Make it up," says Mir. "Now you made me look stupid."

This latest incident did nothing...
...

NickTheTrainer says "Mapquest has just been made obsolete" about Garmin - Nuvi 360 GPS Device

So far, I've only written reviews about products I can't live without and the Garmin - Nuvi 360 GPS Device follows this trend. Since I was born without any sense of direction, I once relied solely on Mapquest and a co-pilot to take me to new locations. After being steered the wrong way more than once using mapquest, I finally decided to experience the world of GPS when I rented a car in California. From the start I was completely amazed. After a few strokes of the touch screen, where I simply put in the address of my destination, the Garmin took care of the rest. Easy to follow, clearly understood directions are spouted off to you while you follow your route on the large screen. Even if you daydream like me and miss a turn, the device recalculates your mistake & automatically devises a new route. For the more attentive driver, the feature comes in more handy when there is traffic or road work and you need to take an alternate route. This little device has been a life saver for me......

NickTheTrainer says "I don't drink... I only binge drink" about Samuel Adams Boston Lager

First of all, I wanted to preface my review by explaining my sound bite. Not that I'm an alcoholic but I chose to imbibe 2 or 3 days a week and when I do, I usually drink at least 6 beers. According to Wikipedia, binge drinking is, "For a typical adult, this pattern corresponds to consuming 5 or more drinks (male), or 4 or more drinks (female), in about 1-3 hours". My defense is that I weigh around 215 pounds, maintain above average cardiovascular fitness so therefore my tolarance and rate of alcohol oxidation puts my inebriation level at about 12 drinks in 3 hours. Have I mentioned I have kids???

Anyway, this review is actually for Sam Adams Octoberfest. The Boston Lager company makes upwards of 30 different types of beer and puts out special beers for all 4 seasons. As the fall nears and the weather begins to change, I always look forward to this beer release. If you only drink light beer and aren't into vibrant, hoppy flavors then Sam Adams isn't your cup of tea. Considering I pretty...
...

NickTheTrainer says "Selfishness never tasted so good" about Keurig Elite B40 Coffee Maker

Another product I was hesitant to use because I didn't want to be classified as "one of those people". It was a day when no one brewed a pot of regular joe when my metamorphosis took place. I'd seen others using the Keurig single cup machine so I was very familiar with its workings. Loaded the coffee, pressed the button and out came 12 ounces of pure delight. One sip and I was hooked. Unless you're standing next to the regular coffee maker as it's brewing, you'll never get to experience the freshness that the Keurig brings to the table. Another great feature of Keurig Elite B40 Coffee Maker is the speed and ease of brewing. Less than 30 seconds and you're in flavor country. Thumbs up here!!!...

NickTheTrainer says "I never thought I ever wanted to be this connected..." about Blackberry - Curve 8300 Cell Phone

Working for a marketing/technology company, I fought the urge daily to be like my co-workers who had constant bells, whistles, and rings alerting them to some sort of message. As my travel schedule has picked up, my boss suggested that we go down to the AT&T and I should get a "big boy" phone. As he his my boss and one my best friends, we trekked a few miles away to pick up my new toy. After relinquishing the device to our IT department for a few minutes to get hooked up, the emails began to flow in and haven't stopped since. It's been almost two months and I find myself connected to my BlackberryCurve 8300 for more than 18 hours a day. I love hearing my little cherp when I have a new text message or email. It's actually kind of pathetic but the realization is that I've gone over to the darkside. I'm addicted to my Crackberry. Please help...(I highly recommend getting one ;)) ...

It's the modern day Karate Kid. No, really. Plot was so similar it was scary. No issue though because most watching this weren't even born when that movie was made. On that note, loved Karate Kid, loved Never back down. "C'mon Johnny, put him in a body bag!"...
